I am glad that i found such hidden gem on youtube. You guys are great. Such a chill vibe and have clarity in your thoughts. You guys can make people fall in love with cricket again. 😂 I do not watch too much cricket since Dhoni retired. I first time felt what Sachin's fans must have felt after his retirement. This kind of events also makes you feel old and sad.😅 It's like your favourite tv show ending after many years. But i do watch important ICC tournament and bilateral series between top ranking teams. After watching you guys, it reminded me that what made this sport interesting for me when i was young & It was people like you who enjoy, cherish and appreciate the game and performances of players. Because when we do that, we are so much in the present instead of us just thinking about the results of the game and the future of the game. It's like that quote. "Journey is more beautiful than the Destination."

With regards to WA Day, there are some states in India like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu which have a particular date (for eg, 1st November is celebrated as Karnataka Rajyotsava) every year to celebrate the state's formation.

As Indian, results were better than the result I imagined. But one thing to learn from this match was to bring Shami and Ashwin back in the team to support Bumrah. Other bowlers have bowled really well in 1st inning. But once the pitch become flat and when there was not much help from the pitch, it felt like most of our bowling was paralyzed and helpless except Bumrah. We need wicket taking bowlers like Shami and Ashwin. Also, Ashwin can surely bat too.

Yeah it’s the impressive (annoying) thing about India’s depth, there’s lots of improvement to come and I don’t see who can do that to the Australian squad

@girishchand444
@girishchand444 Ай бұрын
@@nandansharma3923 the only reason Ashwin is not playing is that Sundar gives a bit batting advantage than him. Sure Ashwin is gre8 bowler but sighting team combo 1 spinner can play and that is the reason even jadeja is not able to make a cut.
@lonewolfe2502
@lonewolfe2502 Ай бұрын
@@girishchand444 yaa but we need wicket taking bowler and not just batsman. Also, Ashwin can bat too. He has scored 6 centuries and 14 half centuries in his career in crucial matches. He improved his batting a lot in later part of his career. Washington had a chance to prove himself as a bowler but he failed. When such situation will arrive where seamers seem helpless and you need to break partnership, then you require someone like Ashwin in the team.
@girishchand444
@girishchand444 Ай бұрын
@lonewolfe2502 I agree, we need proper off spinner in here, but Sundar can do that and Ashwin has centuries and even he did batting to save Sydney test match in 2020, but he is a bit short if it comes to score runs in aus. He can score at will in sub continent, so I think that is why Sundar got picked up and he has shown his batting skills in Aus earlier as well.

Keep stupid political propaganda out please, the biggest embarrassment is having Amit Shah in the BCCI and now the ICC, 2014 has nothing to do with things. None of the current players started the game after 2014, all of them are a product of the cricketing environment pre 2014. Dhoni , Sehwag, Shami, Harbhajan, Raina, and a whole lot of players pre 2014 were from small towns. And the real catalysts for unearthing new talent has been the IPL, which started in 2007

@ N Srinivasan wasn’t an elected politician, his poppa wasn’t an elected politician either, so no he wasn’t a politician, he made his mark in business, Sharad Pawar too didn’t get any post because of who is father was, unlike Jay Shah whose only claim to fame is who his poppa is. The earnings of the cricketers has gone up thanks to the money earned by the BCCI from IPL and from broadcasting rights, all of which increased substantially before 2014.

Two striking phases when India really stood out surprisingly were phases they let the game drift to their advantage...first one was on the second day morning whey the bowlers eased a bit at the australian tail...to make sure all the juice in the pitch dries out...second was yesterday as the Indian batsmen held fort on the pitch till the pitch detriorates as much as it could...that requires acute reading of the game...whether there this planned or advertent...not sure ... If It was ... that's something...

If you'd look at Marnus' career ...there are two halves to it ... If I am not wrong...the first 15 or 20 Test matches he played his catches were dropped 15 or 20 times and he made those drops count ...he churned out big scores...his average ruled at 60 or so...law of averages has started kicking in... statistically in world test cricket if one takes a look ...the batsman who has had his catches dropped most times for the last 3 or 4 years that would be Marnus...now he's getting found out on the pitch ...and still Kohli dropped him in the 1st innings...so if you gentlemen or anyone for that matter look up the number of times Marnus has had his catches dropped thst would be real interesting...

Who knows...truth is stranger than fiction...it did benefit India ...50 odd balls and a couple of runs and got out to a screamer ...it was a telling psychological blow for the rest of the line up...in the recent past have seen him build an innings like that and get to a 200 ball 80 or 90 ...but not so this ...I just hope he cuts down his shenanigans on the field... and concentrates on his game

I don't think Australia should over-react to this match. I don't think the difference between the 2 sides is as pronounced as the scoreline in this match suggests. In the first innings when both sides batted under the same conditions India made about 50 more runs then Australia. In the second innings India batted at the best time with the pitch flattening out but by the time Australia batted cracks had appeared and some balls were keeping low. Jaiswal played and missed a lot in the second innings and if he nicked one of those early who knows what could have happened.Laberschane made 90 one test match ago against New Zealand so I think we should all cool our jets and see what happens in the next test match which I still think is a 50/50 chance for both sides.

A very sane point...the concerning areas are the top 4 batsmen...it looks like they going by the recent performance they do look shakey...it wasn't any better with the Indian batsmen...except for the fact...they seem to have settled in better to the rhythm of the game...strange but true
