Yes, The mention of Prophet (pbuh) in the Quran has to obey Rasool several times. This is to convey Allah's (SWT) message to all his creationof mankind. So, whatever, Muhammed (pbuh) has taught us is last and final. He (pbuh) has successfully completed his mission during his tenure. Now, all human being has to follow his teachings and Quran only but worship only Allah (SWT). whatelse is interpreted are against the teachings of Rasool (pbuh). May ALLAH guide all of us in the right path.

Brother, you need tafsser written by many when you dont understand Arabic. for me, when I accepted Islam 14 years ago, I went to Egypt to learn Arabic, studied in Al Azhar Univ. Now, I can understand Quran if I have any doubt I have hadith (Bukhari and Mislim) to refer the commentary. so, I am ok with it, Al Hamdulillah. There are amny tafseers who promote shirk wrongly interpretting Quran.I accepted Islam after reading Quran and learning hadith, not looking at Muslims. Islam is all abt Tauheed.
