I have a very large prostate so I'm thinking that Green Light may be worth a look as a way to sidestep major surgery. Thanks much!

I've had two sessions of Urolift pins over the past 8 years or so. Now bladder / prostate / urethrae "locked up" while under sedation for a hernia repair, couldn't pee, now stuck with Foley bag. Probably have at least 10 pins in my prostate. How would this complicate this procedure?

I had GreenLight laser prostate surgery a week ago today to address my 38% enlarged prostate. My doctor said I was an ideal candidate. On the day of the procedure, I remember the mask going over my face, and then it was lights out. The 90-minute surgery went smoothly, and I woke up with a catheter and a pee bag, which I dealt with for 72 hours. The bag was annoying, but I had zero pain and didn’t need any medication. I slept well and even removed the catheter myself. Now, I’m 100% back to normal and peeing like a racehorse. My sexual function is unchanged, and reverse ejaculation (which my doctor mentioned) isn’t an issue for me or my wife. She loves it. Much cleaner... I know every man is different but Overall, I’d rate my GreenLight laser surgery a solid 10.
