Nah it would just require full buy-in from the parents. Significant lifestyle changes would have to be made for the majority of American households to really prepare their children in the best way. Nutrition, exercise, literacy, financial education; all of that can be learned, or at least reinforced, by the environments kids are raised in. This is the exact reason homework is so insidious. It literally steals time away from kids that should be spent learning valuable skills to improve and maintain their families and communities. The solution isn’t more time and energy put into traditional schooling, it’s stabilizing American households financially so parents can pour more time and energy into their children.
