We live in an age of manifestation culture. Social media has duped many into this interesting "speak it, manifest" culture. Primarily, this culture has ran rapid in the church amongst the pulpit. You know, "By 31st of the month, you'll have every bill paid......new house in the next 60 days....new car in the next 4 weeks....etc." Such rhetoric has enabled the line of thinking in modern christian faith that there is no such thing as "struggle" and that life will simply bend in your direction if you believe and "speak it." Dr. Curtis briefly deals with how this is problematic in many ways.
