No, this kit does not affect the transformation in any way, shape or form. This kit is just filling hollow spaces that have nothing to do with the transformation and just to reiterate, I did not have instructions to go by. I was using pics from BBTS (which is where I got this kit) for reference. Also yes, the silver piece is indeed for Hound. Thank you :)

Most of the Ebay Sellers and Uncle Billy's Shop listings had the instructions for the Magnus parts. I did a drop of glue on the stacks and both the front top and back top boot parts. Everything else was plug and play. The silver missile is for Siege Hound. On most of those seller listings it is shown and it was a Pre-order bonus originally but I think it was just thrown in now just because.

Eh the gaps in the shoulders and legs never bothered me, what does(For my copy at least) is he can't hold his main rifle as its just too lose in his hands(This is the same when I gave it to Studio Series optimus from the Bumblebee movie so its weird) and I would think a Better idea for an Upgrade kit is more of a weapon upgrade kit, some different guns, different shoulder missiles some extra rifles that can combine into a Magnus Hammer.

If the post on the rifle is too loose ten just put a coat of floor polish on the post and it should thicken out I did mine when the figure came out and it still goes in snugly

Well done emgo316! Yup, the add on kit definitely improves Siege UM looks. I'll probably be getting one as well. If I have to be nitpicky on the kit, part of me actually wish for a big solid blue panel to completely hide the whole inner side leg instead of little pieces. Sure it will affect transformation but since Siege UM is partformer, it makes no difference. Secondly, I think the shoulder stack filler detail should've mirrored the opposite side instead of the detail of the front.
