Actually shafi,maliki,hanafi and hambali all these 4 madhhabs are same but shia,jews,salafi,etc all these are different. 4 madhhab has different opinion of great 4 scholar which is not against islam, Hence we can follow any one. But rememember they r not different they 4 are same that is "ahlsunnawaljamaha". All great scholors have agreed with them then y should we go against them without knowing anything. If you want proof of any 4 madhhab you can ask your nearby sunni scholars or u can search in google of 4 madhhab but dont blindly condemn 4 madhhab witch is same group but different opinion. Ahlusunnah does not go against them but they follow any one of 4 madhhab.

Sahih Muslim Book 042, Hadith Number 7147. - messenger of Allah forbids to write down his sayings. sura Al-An'am 6:12 Al-A'raf, 7:3 Luqman, 31:6-7 Al-Mursalat, 77:50 Al-Qalam, 68:37-38 hanafi literally means follower of Quran, (and nothing else) muslim means surended to God

i agree there are no castes in islam. Hanafi, shafi, maliki, hanbali are all sunni islamic schools. all are correct so you can follow any one of these. i live in India and i follow hanafi school. so people need to understand islamic schools are not castes.

General question from a non-muslim. I'm not here to spread hate, just asking a so please don't troll. Where do people get this thing that the Prophet (PBUH) said that he left behind the Qur'an and Sunnah? I was under the impression that in the Qur'an itself, it says that the Qur'an is complete and the best hadith. And considering that Hadiths can be a bit dodgy, (even the proclaimed authentic ones), can people take for granted that what they think is sunnah actually IS sunnah? Peace!

In these masail Fuqaha like Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Shafai etc establish rulings in the light of Quran and Sunnah and decide the Ahkaam of such masail. Like in the above example buffalo is compared with cow and made halal and masoor ki daal is compared with chana ki daal and made halal. So in such masail you can follow any Imam who is a Mujtahid. And we have four Imams namely Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Shafai, Imam Maalik and Imam Ahmed Ibn Hanbal.

Never heard that about monkey and also never saw a hadith of that. Sunnis way is based on hadith with qur'an. if the hadith does not go with the qur'an then there is no sense in it. but if we hypothetically say the qur'an is not complete this would go against the ayats in the qur'an where it stats that it is complete. but there is no sense in arguing. my problem i have with shia believe is that they deny in some way the great khulafas like abu bakr, umar and uthman.

Mansoos masail are those that are directly mentioned in Quran and Hadeeth and there is not controversy in following them in any school of thought. Where as there are some masail that are not clearly stated in Quran and Hadeeth and they are called the Ghair mansoos masail. What should one do here. For example According to Quran, Cow meat and milk is halal but what about a buffalo?masor dal is halal in Quran but what about chana dal?

I do understand that the Shia (more specifically the recognized scholars of Shiism) of Iran, Iraq Lebanon, Bahrain, Kuwait, and KSA not including the minor sects of the Shia, ARE ithna 'ashariya Shiites. The Messenger of Allah never wished to divide Muslims into groups. Prophet (PBUH & HF) ORDERED all people to follow Imam Ali (AS) as his representative in his life time and after him as well. Prophet (PBUH & HF) wished everybody does that, but unfortunately those who heeded him were few and were known as "SHIA" who suffered from day one of the demise of Prophet (PBUH & HF). Some of them did not bring revelation, so how would the people learn from them? By what they say and do. How abdul wahab divided the Ummah ?? Abdul Wahab wanted to merge all the Sects under the banner of Quran and Hadiths... It is these traditionalist followers (Hanfis, Hambalis, Shafis, Malikis) who has divided the ummah. Now note Imam Hanfi, Hambali, Shafi and Maliki never divded the Ummah. sorry. i dunno what is it that makes your attitude so negative upon someone who stating, narrating quran in a very simple way. we follow quran and sunnah not mr. zakir nayak. i love him because he is wise. doing his bit of contribution really well. i will love whoever will do the same.
