I was born a seventh day adventist and we had a lot of reading in our Sabbath school (pagans would say Sunday school) and these context of Christmas was thought but in a Christian version and now it makes sense. Ever since I started my spiritual journey and listening to Maponga (who babtised me when he was an adventist), Dr Litchfield etc I've sinse stopped going to church coz now m questioning Christianity as a whole and the bible

In conclusion, the main theological figures involved in the Council of Nicaea were Arius and Athanasius of Alexandria. The dispute between these two figures concentrated on the nature of Jesus Christ, with Arius claiming that Jesus Christ was not entirely divine and Athanasius believing that he was.

That's for opening our eyes and minds.. but why most of Master are talking about Christianity and not talking about Islam also coz both of them have the same impact on Africans.. please next time give us your thoughts about Islam.makhosiii
@pulanemolotsi69989 ай бұрын
I was just about to say the same! I think he focused on Christianity because it is the religion that was passed to us in particular through colonisation but other Africans were colonised using different religions so it would be interesting for him to delve into that too

WOW what pure fiction on the name of Jesus lol. There is no deep conspiracy about the earthly name of Jesus at all, this man created a beautiful fiction. The name 'Jesus' is derived from the Greek Iesous, which is a transliteration of the Hebrew name Yeshua. This was a common name in ancient Israel, meaning 'Yahweh is salvation' or 'The Lord saves.' Its usage even predates Jesus of Nazareth with many figures in the old testament bearing that name. Its not a new nor unique name which was only assigned to Jesus of Nazareth. Historically, theologically and linguistically there is no deep conspiracy that has ever surrounded that name it is a well-documented name in historical and linguistic studies. The translation from Hebrew to Greek to Latin and eventually to English has no hidden agenda. The claim that the name 'Jesus' means 'yes pig' through some linguistic manipulation is baseless and demonstrates a misunderstanding of how languages work. Morphology which is the study of word formation does not support the combining syllables nor the meanings across unrelated languages without historical evidence nor context. This was pure fiction and fun to watch. But there are no serious students of language nor history who will take this theory seriously. Sad to watch too.

You don't "transliterate" people's names and places about true stories.
