Thank you for telling me about extravasation. I just looked it up, and the photos sucked. I am always going to look out for those vesicant medicines. YOU'RE MY HERO NRSNG. You help so much when it comes to studying for the NCLEX.

This happened to me a few days ago. Your video was very helpful. Thank you very much for sharing. You were quick, insightful, enjoyable, and to the point. You should definitely make more videos. When more people find you I think you would become very popular. Best wishes to you and yours. 🥰

very accurate video thank you. Just had my first in hospital day in nursing class and we went over everything you just said. This was a great review of that :)

I was in the ER and needed an IV (20G for CT contrast). Different nurses and doctors tried and started 8 different IVs, but the IV infiltrated each time. Three tried were even ultrasound-guided. Ultimately, we decided to stop after 8 tries. We tried in the wrist, AC, and multiple places in the upper arm. What can I do, as a patient to make sure this doesn't happen again?

My arm swelled slightly. But I was infusing glutathione. Hope that is not a vesicant?

Great explanation but too much talking! A video or photo is worth a 1,000 words. Ur video would be much better if u had augmented/supported it with photos while talking but appreciate the explanation.
