@@tyronmcalister9869 it can be meta to refill MP in the save room after Creature so that you can wing smash through most of the long hallway to Marble Gallery. But THIS man & his TOTALLY RANDOM (lol) MP refill glitches- If you perform certain actions as Alucard on the exact frame where the MP bar regenerates, there’s a chance it will refill the entire bar. Watch when he does the iron shield attack, and AGAIN when he levels up from defeating Creature. Since he didn’t have to visit the save room to refill, it shaved ~10 seconds automatically off the run. Unreal luck! The speed police might have questions, but MP refill glitches are nearly impossible to time out, so he’s just the goat in my book.

I bought this game when it came out and play it every few years and had no idea you could do that charge move with the bat or use the shield rod like that.

The bat smash, I believe the librarian sells it as a spell. You learn it by doing it if you already know. Shield Rod + Shield was sort of a secret. Attack and Shield button at same time and whoa, each shield has a different effect.

I thought things like getting the silver ring using potion's immunity was considered a glitch, like the wolf high jump to get the bat without a leap stone

Both of those would be considered exploits. The immunity from the potion is an intended mechanic, he's just using it to his advantage to sequence break. Same thing with the wolf jump.
