A+ for navigation of obstacles. "Somebody" didn't want anyone back there. It'll take more than that to dissuade a determined rider on a DR.

Very good drive, I have the same bike model DR650SE. On some occasion I have gone through very closed sites in the north of Spain. I would like to know the model of the rear box that you carry on the bike. A greeting

I guess we should be glad that the rest of the world is unaware of the great times that you can have on the Mighty DR! Otherwise, there'd be crowds up there.

After many years of riding a BMW R1100GS I am downsizing to a DR650. Because of places like this. You are crazy to try to roll s big horse over terrain this challenging.

Good choice the DR is a great compromise! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine!

What state is this? I am moving to Oregon in the next year or so. I hope this is where you are. Would be real fun to ride together.

+Voyage2NoWher3 I ride about 2 hours from Seattle but we could ride in between there are so many places to ride on the west coast. You will also be somewhat close to elcamino. Gamet36 also is close. We should get a youtube meetup it would be a lot of fun. You are going to love oregon!

Do you carry something just in case of a flat tire?
@brandtagone84876 жыл бұрын
I carry at least patches but back then no. A couple years ago I had just picked up my bike from the shop with new D606's and I had a front flat about 30 miles out and up on mount Pilchuck. I rode the 650 home with the new flat front tire and it held up well. Five miles of dirt and then 25 miles of hwy it did well and better with throttle. Shop put a new tube in and then I put 4000 miles on the D606. last year I had 2 flat fronts on 2 rides (got a vid on one) riding with my buddy brian and I used 2 of his 21" tubes. So yeah now I carry at a minimum patches and co2 in a kit by tusk. Comes with 3 co2's (they work awesome) and patches. Most of my rides I have a butt pack on the bike with a 21" tube and paracord for towing or can be used to wind around the tire and rim to prevent the tire from spinning on the rim and shredding the flat tire. Thanks man!

This was a fun ride for sure! It was also strangely odd with all the grass and water management not sure what they had planned as this was not a timber company repair, Thanks Man!
