I don't consider this album goth imo. It borrows from goth but its so much more refreshing. I honestly believe if you dropped the visual anesthetic on Drab Majesty, Goths would not identify with this. Well on the sole purpose of being goth anyway

I said I'd never listen to adult contemporary, and this really brings out a lot of 'growing up in the 80's' memories of soulless music and tasteless yuppies. But somehow, this retro-inspired act is still great to me, at this point in my life. Definitely nothing but the best of synthwave can grab me. They took those corny old timbres and did something ingenuitive with them. I haven't been so happy with an act since Information Society!

I was at the MHOW show and was blown away. This almost 52 year old saw most of all of the 80s synth pop and gothy things back in the day and these guys HAVE IT. Them and Ritual Howls are my favorite out of the new bands doing this type of thing. Modern Mirror is a bit of a slower burn than The Demonstration but it's just as great.

I love that whole beat shift I pretty much love everything about this duo all their songs are awesome and I’m thankful to be alive to know this band
