Aqva Pour Homme Marine by Bvlgari | Fragrance Review

This fragrance has been compared to dirty underwear. I personally like the touch the seaweed adds but I wouldn't wear this one on a regular basis. Let's not forget that seaweed is also a contributor to the uniqueness of Secretion Magnifiques' smell (at least according to Fragrantica). Haha... amazing review!

great job on the review. You are probably one of the least biased reviewers. I am not a huge aquatic fan but this is a fragrance I really enjoy. Its unique in its own right and gives me a feel of a fresh water / swimming pool not necessarily of the sea but perhaps of a pool or fresh water. I love the sweet salty vibe, great concept, and very refreshing in the super heat.

This review was very informative and had good people feedback. In my experience of Bvlgari Aqva and Aqva Marine i find that marine is more generic and a people pleaser this video is proof that it is. Aqva on the other hand has a ton of depth and an alluring quality with an edge, a very memorable scent if you will. A comparison video will sure be interesting to watch just to see how the people in your world react to it.

i really tried to like both aqua and aqua marine and i owned aqua marine but man the sewed/salt water note literally turned my stomach. i think it's a very good scent, but i just can't wear it. my personal favorite aquatic (that is supposed to smell like the ocean) is probably wall street by bond no 9. like i said i like the smell but if i smell it for to long then it turns my stomach which sucks cuz it's a pleasant smell

Man.. secretions is unique in the way it smells just BAD. I'm not sure how to describe such a uniquely offensive scent. LOL. I don't mind the scent of Seaweed (or taste for that matter) But secretions..ugh.. I think I shuddered just thinking of it

Interesting. While testing this one I did read from a lot of people how the original Aqva was more daring and had more of the Sea vibe to it. I think I may have to pick it up now.

Good to know. However... I don't think many people know anything about Sergio Tacchini though.. so its probably going to keep happening until the fragrance becomes more well known.

Mmm.. thats tough. As an Aquatic per say.. this is very solid.. however I would take a look at Sel Marin, some of hte Hermes line as well.. and some of the Blue Mediteranian series from Aqua Di Parma... if your looking at the cheaper side.. the Nautica's are not a bad choice

I have to weigh in on this one. I am wearing this in the Texas heat this summer as part of my rotation. I am getting 12 hours with this in the heat with highs in the 90s. It is excellent in hot climates.

Great review man, esp. when allowing other women to comment on it, since men are trying to impress women. I would also suggest that instead of using it on paper, why not spray on yourself since perfume needs to mix with body chemistry? Overall great review.

chicagosbest82 Depends, Pour Homme has a dominant sea weed note. Which if you can imagine posiedien, it's what the scent smells like. It smells of Deep ocean, unabashed manlyness, and just power. It's a great scent with an amazing dry down but even though the seaweed isn't god awful, it's there so if you don't like it then don't buy. Amara replaces the seaweed with incense and patchouli which in my opinion is alot more appealing to the masses, but I prefer just the manlyness of pour homme
