it breaks my heart that everyone calls draco mean and a bully when really he isn't. i've been rewatching the movies and rereading the books and i noticed a lot of times that the golden trio are the ones who say something mean first. for example, whenhe first called hermione a mudblood, in second year, hermione insulted him first because he was bragging about the brooms his father got for the team. he's allowed to brag, but hermione got annoyed and insulted him. so he insulted her, which ron responded to by trying to jinx him and make him vomit slugs. i honestly believe that ron deserved it when tthe spell backfired. lmao, i was kinda ranting for way to long about one scene, but i feel like its things like these that people miss because they think the golden trio can do no wrong. i honestly feel really bad for draco and i hate that most people misunderstand him. he's had a difficult life, contrary to what many people think. surely he has money, but money can't buy everything. i wish more people would understand what he's really like. also, i am so mad at jk rowling for kiling off astoria. how could she kill her? Poor Draco. After having a cold harsh death eater father and a mother who chose to go along with it, its so unfair that he finally finds a nice person that actually loves him and means a lot to him, and then she died. jk rowling wasn't fair to him.It's just so unfair. Draco really was the boy with no choice. or rather, the boy who could choose only between two terrible outcomes, becoming a murderer or being murdered. at sixteen. can we just talk about how young he was? he was a teenager that was forced to become a death eater and murder the greatest wizard alive, who even voldemort couldn't kill, at sixteen , or his enire family would probably be tortured and murdered. And he had to have voldemort live at his house, had to watch people, some of which he knew. tortured, taken prisoner, and killed, when he waasn't even a legal adult. I don’t think that any of the things he did can give him the title of a villain at all, regardless of if he wanted to do them or not. draco is one of the most misunderstood characters in the series. everyone says Harry went through worse things when in reality I think draco went through worse. while Harry didn’t have his biological family he had the weasleys, dumbledore, Minnie, etc. he was surrounded by people who loved and cared for him. Here is explaining Draco’s life. As a child he had a smile on his face. Even if it was from making fun of people. You could tell he was happy in the first movie. In the second movie, he was slightly worse. His father seemed to neglect him and his father never loved him. He was disappointed in him for almost dying after falling off the broom. But once he became a teenager- his smile vanished. He became more broken than ever. He wanted to cry every moment. He did not want to hurt anyone. You could see how he was watching Harry his whole life. You could tell he was jelous of his friendships. Draco only had Crabbe and Goyle/ Goyle and Blaise- who were never true real friends. His whole life he had no one. When he was younger he would play with Dobby secretly in his room. Are you wondering how dobby knew so much about him when he had never gone anywhere but the Manor? Who do you think told him everything. But then when dobby left he was alone again. His whole life he didn’t want to be bad. When his parents called him over- you could tell he was waiting for someone to grab his hand and tell him to stop. He had no choice. He had no where else to go. As an adult he was still broken inside. Especially after losing Astoria and almost losing Scorpius. His whole life he wished wasnt real. One scene he was standing on top of the astronomy tower looking down- thinking about committing. He didn’t want any of this. He. Deserved. Better.

I'd like a book about 6th year to like 5 years after the war. Because it would've been so hard for him to go through all the emotional struggle, going against his parents beliefs, making peace with people. The mental health illnesses he would come out with would be a lot for someone who's not had to deal or heard, or have someone they know experience before would be a lot for a seventeen year old to do.

I wanna rewrite the whole harry potter series but with an another character that would change a lot of things Im trying to write my own original story about a girl named Mariah that lost her parents. She is very powerful and kinda scary. Actually she is just really hurt and realises that power and fame isnt everything. She meets a boy simular to Draco who also had a sad story on why he is 'mean' At the end they would fight darkness together and make the world a better place There would also be characters like Bellatrix or Lucius etc. Other characters would be the "normal" ones who think Mariah and the guy are crazy. I just need a little more motivation and creativness, I may actually make it

@Nina I’m working on a fanfic but I’ve added a character who’s a muggle born Slytherin girl called Aquila Nightingale who had a darkened past with her muggle family and doesn’t seem to fit in anywhere. She and Draco seem to have a deep connection underneath everything but he’s always masking that by bullying her until finally comes the day where they have to unite for the greater good, no matter how much they want to fight with each other, they both understand what abusive parents are like.

this is so sad, he didn't deserve what he went through, especially when his father was calling his name to go over to Voldemort's side, you could see draco was stood there waiting for someone, anyone, to tell him not to, someone to care about him, i wish jk made pansy or hermione (i'm a dramione shipper lol) to stop him from going over and for him to rebel against his parents, i think that would have made a great plot twist for draco, and maybe get the ending he truely deserved:)
