Dracula, Session 2 - Facing Facts

In which Dr. Corey Olsen continues his examination of Bram Stoker's famous vampire novel, Dracula, with Chapters 4-6.
In Class Two, he reviews the importance of building our understanding of a text from within the text itself instead of importing theories and imposing them. He examines at length the changing attitude of Jonathan Harker, from supremely rationalist condescension towards the local "superstitions", to accepting what he had previously scorned, coming to see what the Count really is, even if he has no name for it.
