Hey Drae here is one suggestion for you.Since you really like working with wood chips,you should plant poplar.Poplar is ,,crop" that gives you wood chips.You need to use Bio baler(it cost 100k) to harvest it.The biger the field the more money you will earn.Good thing about poplar is it regrows so once you plant it you don't have to do anything else with it(you need tree planter to plant it)

from my knowledge poplar harvest using the Forage harvesters has always been very bad, in terms of money per hour that is.

Drae crop destruction is disabled for all crops in the first growth stage, if you have to go on your field afterwards you can put narrow tires on most of the tractors, narrow tires do not destroy crops. A nice tip: everything you can sell with the train (train logo in price list) can be stored in the train silo for free, you can pull it back out with the train or with any trailer. Woodchips can thus be stored in the train silo.

If you hold down “H” you will get a steering assist that will act like a gps and will give you straight lines and press “H” after you selected it, it will keep you in that lane until you steer out of it and it makes it a lot easier with planting and harvesting

You can't damage crops on the first growth stage, but after that you can. You can also get narrow tyres that never damage any crop.

Is there any point of buying weeder? In last game you could just spray the weeds on any stage and herbicides were pretty cheap. Also you have huge range on the sprayer so it's a lot faster in my opinion. And it's the easiest contracts with fertilizing and liming.

Wood chips are stored in those ground based silos which you can drive on/in amd store other silage goods Older Farming sims taught me that those reduced price machines arent just daily, they change during the day aswell. Could be that you just look in the wrong moments. You also can speed up time while looking in the shop if you want to see ot in action and have a chance of finding a tractor

if you stand in your property, you can harvest stuff outside of your property. so if a tree is on the line, and you cant cut it, try cutting from a different side, at various distances. you might just be able to get it

HI drae! you can just offload the wood chips on the ground on a pile (pressing ctrl + i) and load them later with a belt sistem, which is very cheap and let you load a big quantity of material on trailers with minimal effort. place a truck under a belt, turn it on and let it go. consider watching a video on how it works the first time may be a little complicated. This works for every type of material that you can load on a trailer, so you can avoid using silos. it's especially useful for crops that produce a lot of liters like poplar, beets, potatoes, carrots, woodchips, ecc. like others said, first stage growing does not need narrow tires. Rolling is very uselful too because give you a improved yield and cuts back the weed after the first stage of growing. For plating without too much hussle is better to plant with a fertilizing seeder (which you have), roll the field, wait the next day, roll again and then fertilize. then you dont touch the field until harvest.

I dunno about in this game but, in real life the big problem with fertilizer is that it's highly corrosive. If you leave it in your equipment is will rust it out overnight. I have to use disposable knives just to cut open the bags because it immediately ruins whatever knife you use. The blade will be completely rusted by morning.

First few months of germination you can't killed crops with machines. Same thing in fs 22. Also i made a small hack kinda with the green houses and rice fields. Long narrow field in the middle then put your green houses with your water drop off as close to the field as possible. Than use your water tank and drive next to them and refill and fill in the same place and its super quick. Thank you drae!

The tower as its called. The truck/trailer needs to be at the top of the hill, then you run the line down the hill. That is how You maintain clearance.
