Under which section it is mention that if I choose DRP route then after getting final Assessment Order from AO I can't able to raise my objection against CIT.

Under sub section 2 of 144C, on receipt of the draft order, assessee shall within thirty days of the receipt of the order - File his acceptance of the variation to the AO, or File his objection , if any, to such variation with - the DRP ; and DRP, on receipt of any objection is received, shall issue such directions, as it think fit, for guidance of the AO to enable him to complete the assessment. On receipt of the directions , the AO shall, compete the assessment order within one month from the end of the month in which such direction is issued. Assessee has an option not to press any objection raised originally, in DRP hearing. Any demand arises on account of draft order will not be pressed by the AO during this period. On receipt of the assessment order, if assessee has still some grievance or want further relief can approach to 2nd appellate level ie ITAT at a faster level.

Hi Mam - After frantically hunting for DRP for ages I finally landed here which is so great. I am an NRI and have 144C draft order which has resulted because they added my NRE (Tax exempted) funds. I have received relief u/s 148A for another FY where order is issued in my favour but this notice got unnoticed somehow at earlier stages resulting into a draft order. I have only 14 days left for DRP which I was stressing about but seems CIT Appeals is also a good option. I have submitted my explanation to eProceeding portal against the draft order but my A.O. says it is out of his hands now and will result in final order until an objection from DRP is communicated which makes absolute sense after whatching your video. What steps should I take? I am inclined to do CIT Appeal because it is online and convenient but any suggestions welcome. Also if you have a draft letter for such case of NRI for CIT Appeals I would glad to get started from that. Thanks a lot for making this great video.

Mam 144C draft order ke related DRP me objection kaha pr file hote hai , like income tax portal pr reply file krne se hjaega ya khi specific portal h DRP ka

As per Rule 4 of the Income Tax (Dispute Resolution Panel) Rules, 2009, objections can be filed in Form No. 35A in person or through his agent within the prescribed period. Specimen of Form 35A are given in Rule-Forms.
