These irresponsible decisions by UGC will increase competition, because a high number of unemployed youth, will reach to the colleges for teaching purpose, and we know that already colleges and universities have a huge number of unemployed youth for job application, this is really bad education system, as per my own perspective UGC should investigate in private colleges and universities to make it clear that theose faculties who are teaching there, should have SET OR NET, Because in small cities some colleges and universities getting its teaching work by NON NET OR SET candidates, reason behind of it they pay them less amount as compared to SET OR NET OR PHD CANDIDATES, that's why after qualify the SET OR NET you don't get job easiely in colleges. UGC should work in this direction.

Sir,as i know PhD degree holder can be an assistant professor,who even did it after 2009 with the terms and conditions ,such as course work exam ,open interview,two internationally published journals with two seminars etc.which was given in guidelines.

Sir actually baat ye h that ab at present bhi DU me m.a + net ka koi fayda nhii In permanent posts only top 40 candidates are called up fr interview.( Based on API) And usme PhD completed candidate hi aajate hain. Indirect way me PhD compulsory for even entry level ....( Currently theya re following 2018 regulations

Sir, as a PhD scholar I am supporting the draft. But seriously, PhD admission & PhD ke rules strict hone chahiye & strictly follow bhi hone chahiye. Qki mere jaise log samajh sakte hain ki kitna jhelna padta hai in PhD with high level of publication. Also, NET qualified for PhD bekaar hai, usko hataana chahiye. NET & JRF ki seat badhni chahiye.
