*I havent watched the whole video yet but this is the ideal draft for each team if you consider everything:* Blue Team current state: Artanis Diablo Lucio Red Team current state: Raynor Valla (Thought process how the battle will unfold so far) Diablo is extremelly weak vs ranged aa poke like Valla and Raynor, both together will shread Diablo especially after lvl 16, Valla gains Manticore. Luckily Artanis will provide a big blind at lvl 10 for 5 seconds which will give diablo a 5 second time window or a bit more to kill at least Raynor or Valla in order to keep fighting after without being killed. Sound barrier will give Diablo at least a extra 2 or 3 seconds. To counter that plam, Red Team needs a way to disengage vs the artanis blind or a way to bypass it/negate it, the very known picks for that are Falstad gust, Medivh Portal, Tyrael Sanctification, Brightwing Emerald Wind, Stukov Failing Swipe, Blaze Bunker. It's storm league so Brighting will never pick Emerald wind and Tyrael is not viable in sotrm league cause you need voice comms, medivh portal is almost very unlikelly to work and Falstad is not recommended since Raynor and Valla are already the 2 big ranged aa. The 2 choices remaining are Stukov failling Swipe and Blaze Bunker. (Bunker cleanses any form of CC when you enter in, such as Blind) Let's consider Stukov for a second, Stukov has no cleanse vs Diablo stun lock combo and has no mobility, also stukov requires a stun tank in order to follow up with his root silence combo. Picking Stukov vs Diablo is risky because the second you start channeling your silence, Diablo will charge you with the angle he wants or apoc you for free and kill someone else while you are stunned. Stukov seems risky. Let's consider picking Blaze. Blaze is really good on this map, there are a lot of Choke Point and the oil slow can create a lot of space for Valla Raynor to safely drops auto attacks. Attack speed slow at 13 also seems really good vs artanis so far and the team needs waveclear to deal with camps and depush when half time. One of the best offlaner/fast cleaner is Blaze cause he doesnt die from ganks and can clear really fast. Also Bunker will help cleanse Blind and make sure no one dies during the time window of the blind/sound Barrier. So third pick will be Blaze for red team, now let's see if we want to draft the healer or the Tank for red team. 2 of the best tanks available for them are Mei and ETC, garrosh not fitting for the reasons Grubby mentionned. ETC can create a lot of space for Valla Raynor to deal damage or race but it's unlikelly he will kill someone after a powerslide because Red Team is only Poke damage. Ideally we would prefer a peel tank like Mei or Johanna. Johanna is very weak currently especially on this map where wave clear is not as important, also the cooldown of Iron skin is now very long and give a lot of time for Blue team to kill her or push them back to race. Let's think about Mei Mei will provide, a blind, a slow, phyiscal armor for her team after the slide, and a zone away with Avalanche. We talked about choke points with Oil and zone control, Mei would a great job zoning ennemy team away during imortal fights and would create a favorable fight when Diablo engages, cause she can avalanche rest of the team apart from Diablo away to make sure her team kills Diablo easily. She also has a good blind vs aa damage which is key on this map to race, Greymane is still available, and Hanzo too. Mei seems the tank that Red Team needs, let's pick Mei as 4th pick. RED TEAM CURRENT STATE: Valla Raynor Mei Blaze Blue Team needs to draft 2 damage dealers now, they need something to race fast so an aa hero that also can synergise with his current team. Diablo would like a burst follow up after his engage, Greymane sounds ideal with Cursed Bullet, it would provide race, camp clear, burst follow up and and good chase mobility vs raynor/valla. Cursed bullet seems necessary vs 2 bulky frontliners like Mei and Blaze. Worgen forms provides physical armor and Greymane can also outrange Valla with his lvl7 range increase. Greymane seems like a safe 4th pick. Let's now consider Hanzo, Hanzo has an insane race vs Immortal and provides long poke fights, his Dragons arrow will setup a good and easy apoc follow up stun but Blue team will lack damage currently to kill everyone that is stunned. Hanzo will provide a good way to poke Mei and Blaze and scatter arrow deals a lot of damage on Valla Raynor too. but by picking Hanzo, we give up the burst follow up on Diablo's engage and thus makes Diablo really weak once he dives. To help with that, we need burst mage, luckily, Li Ming is available, Liming would pair perfectly with a Dragon's arrow Apoc combo and provide the burst needed to follow up on Diablo's engage, wave of force on Blaze can interrupt his charge and LiMing for race is really good too. Blue team would have more range than Red team and thus will win the poke war vs Red Team, it force the Red team to engage to win the fight, and Mei/Blaze lack engages. so Blue team picks: Hanzo Liming How to counter a poke war is now the question for Red Team and how to counter a burst combo. Well not many heroes have massive sustained healing and a cleanse Actually only 2 have that, Malfurion and..... Auriel Malfurion will heal for days as long as he is in range of his W on Diablo which will be tricky on this map since there are a lot of walls. Also his team cleanse will completelly negate Dragons Arrow apoc stun if he is not stunned but will be inneffective vs Diablo stun lock combo. His healing will be enough to outheal the poke of Hanzo but not the burst from Liming. Twilight will be unecessary as Artanis is mostly countered by Blinds and Diablo will kill anyway after the charge. Tranquility won't save from burst so let's consider Auriel then. Auriel will provide aoe burst healing every 4 seconds as long as her battery can deal damage, she will have an anti burst spell at lvl 10 named Crystal Aegis to prevent Diablo Ming from focusing someone. Luckily Auriel has Valla and Raynor as batteries which are 2 of the best batteries in the game. She will proviide a blind at lvl 13 if necessary against artanis or auto attack Diablo and with use her push pack to stun artanis away or interrupt Diablo's charge or simply to follow up on Blaze engage or push Lucio away before his Sound Barrier finishes casting. Auriel seems INCREDIBLY strong in that comp and will force Blue team to land a Dragon's Arrow Apoc burst combo in order to win 5v5 fights. Also Auriel Raynor Valla Mei will completelly destroy the 4man fights in early game and will give red team a big advantage to possibly have a talent tier advantage early in the game, having camp controls and structural advantages until Diablo can scale and Liming get her lvl 7. BLUE TEAM RECAP: Diablo Lucio Artanis Hanzo Liming RED TEAM RECAP: Valla Raynor Mei Blaze Auriel Blue team needs to get a Dragon's arrow apoc burst combo to win fights, they will also struggle camp clearing during half time or when imo pops up unless they replace Hanzo by Greymane but then their teamfights become harder. Red Team should dominate early game, dominate the poke war (thanks to auriel infinite burst healing) and force Red Team to engage every fight. They have very good disengage tools tho and should be able to kill/stay alive. Their camp clear is enough with Valla Raynor and Blaze can take care of the wave clear. Red Team should win if played well(They had last pick) Thanks for reading.
