yeah by the end of OTJ I wasn't passing Dance of the Tumbleweeds. Just does it all. Is a pseudo-bomb in the lategame and just lets you play any of the actual bombs you open or are passed. This deck is right up my alley.

Hi Paul, I was the rush of dread player. Arena crashed during the middle of my first pack of draft. I reloaded the client and client was outdated and needed an update. By the time I downloaded the client again, the draft was over and I had all auto-picks. I made the best deck I could with the pile of garbage I was given, hence lack of cohesion and the very greedy double-pipped white splash. Given this unusual situation - plus the fact that I am a big fan of the channel - I will take the "no respect for the game" comment with a grain of salt. :) Love the content, continue being awesome. Ps. I contacted arena customer service and got the gems back because the crash and update issue was out of my control.

​@@haumph This is definitely a match I did not deserve to win - I got extremely lucky. 1) you took 9 damage from bronco 2) I drew the Aven with mana to available to cast it and 3) Drew the best card in my deck

Those early drafts when formats come back after a while are so funny. Getting an Outcaster Greenblade P1P4 was outrageous...but not as outrageous as me getting a P1P4 Overwhelming Forces on my first draft.

Nice comeback! This set really has some nostalgic moments. There are some cards you just can’t beat when cast, so it leaves a sour taste no matter how good you drafted. But at least we’re back to old school magic wherein bombs and hard removals are key to winning, instead of those highly efficient 1-2 drop creatures.

I'd just hard pivot to BRw with Bruce Tarl and Terror. Certainly better than the Cactarantula and Greenblade, which were your only playable green cards.

Don't you dare downplay the outcaster greenblade. It's got a higher gih wr than the terror of the peaks! But yes I had no real business being in green.

Also, I rewatched the draft and red was also extremely not open. I think the theoretical colors I was probably supposed to play was U/B given what I saw. I also could have had a few more green cards but I hedged and took a similarly powered black card instead in a few spots.

​@@haumph after rewatching pack 3 you'd have just a Coyote or Prickly Pair, and a Grizzled Wolverine in red and one WR desert. So yeah, pack 3 wasn't great for either red or white. Opening bombs outside your colors sucks.

Interesting draft... Black wide open, but nothing else was clear... opened a bunch of red bombs, wanted green but it wasn't really coming through, a few white cards here and there... blue was probably the most open, but there was never a clear "jump in" sign. Tough one!

I always tear up OTJ quickdraft, the bots let the insane Abzan cards go super super late, it's so easy to build crazy Abzan midrange piles. At 36:00, what's the thinking behind using Mourner's on the Blood Hustler? Just mana efficiency? I would think it would be better to just swing with the Bruse next turn. If they block, you can use the extra Surprise to get it back. And if they don't block, it's a free attack and you can still use the Surprise to get back the Hustler. But maybe the tempo of the play is too slow since you're reliant on the Dredger mana to even play the Bruse?

At 36:00, why couldn't you play Bruce? You had 4 untapped lands and a treasure - treasure for W, forest+Pylon for R, then still 2 untapped lands for the 2?

oh man, for all the times if you would have just saddled the bronco, it deals damage to your opponent equal to the flip. especially with the ambush gigapede on top
