I’m gonna enjoy the series regardless, but for the ppl who voted expansion, why? He rly hasn’t done much historic stuff at all, especially lately. He literally did a SUPER long expansion series to start the game off. He’s done plenty of expansion rebuilds. It would’ve been super dope to be rebuilding some random team in like the early 2010s or late 2000s or w/e. I say those bc the more recent ones have more accurate filled out rosters and draft classes. Imagine him doing the Sonics right after they draft KD. Or idk he could even go way more recent and start off with the Mavs drafting Luka and correctly building around him. Just a lot of fun possibilities. We’ve seen these before. I know he’s gonna do this one more through the draft but he could’ve done that w a historic team and it would’ve been awesome. I’ve never seen someone draft Luka as the Mavs and build, or maybe draft him with PHX or ATL. Or name some other star that didn’t have a good team around them for a long time. Just wondering! Like I said ima watch and enjoy this regardless.

you are my favourite rebuilding KZbin, love your videos. But for this one, I don't get it. Wemby was shooting 0.398 on 3 pointer as a center, you had to lower his 3 point tendency. Meanwhile you wanted a good 3 pointer shooter for SG, and signed beasley shooting 0.396???

I mean he wants spacing, but he’d prefer his C isn’t the one launching 3s. He should ideally be getting to the rim a lot, to the FT line, etc. But you want spacing around him for a modern offense. Beasley is a high volume very good 3P shooter. Ideally Beasley isn’t your starter, he’s a guy off the bench who plays like 25-28min or whatever and shoots the lights out. But it’s a young team so I’m sure he will find a better 3&D SG in the future.

I may be wrong but in the past expansion teams couldn't get top3 pick in first 3 years cause it would be unfair since they have weakest roster in the league. It's too easy to start new franchise with the best prospect in the draft

They kinda just make up the rules each time as they go it seems. It’s such a rare occurrence obviously now. Whenever they do expand and add 2 teams (I honestly think it’ll be a while, like 4-5 years maybe longer idk) they’ll figure it out then. The lotto odds were way different back then too. Even if you’re the worst team in the league you’re over 50% to be outside of the T3. So idk what they’d do.

Like Charlotte was given pick #4 and #33 I believe. They traded up to 2. But they weren’t in the lotto, they were just given 4. Toronto and Vancouver got 6/7 in the draft, same thing they were just assigned the pick. They start off in the off season and they do the regular draft and expansion draft before they ever play. So there’s no record to even give them lotto odds. But after that I think it’s fair game. Charlotte got pick 3 in their second season actually playing. I rly think they’d just make new rules and have ppl vote on them tho, the NBPA & the owners etc. It’d need to be negotiated in the CBA too since the lotto odds would change and all that.

Changing peak ages seems like kind of cheating ngl. You are changing when players will regress or not so then it will effect when you have to trade them. Bol Bol's peak age should be 30. He is lanky and more injury prone so his prime will be shorter than other players kind of like AD where his prime might be shorter bc he gets injured more frequently. I would like if you changed them back, I'm fine changing shot tendencies, but this kind of seems like you are making it easier on yourself bc players are less likely to regress earlier.
