Tammy I think it steams from the tradition of temporary transforming a man’s body and features into a woman. When a trans woman who does female drag, it is not considered a “transformation” since trans women look and have body features of a women. As for drag kings, I don’t understand the fuss other than it might not take as long to transform into a male appearance. I’m not against who can compete since drag is an exaggeration of gender troupes.
