Welcome to the channel and that tool is a pickle fork. Using a pickle fork will most likely rip the boor

Awesome Video!! I'm located in Georgia and I'm trying to get ahold of this same part but for (2009 Chevrolet Express 4500 with a 6.6 Duramax). Do you know of a place I can pick it up local or do I need to purchase it online? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the channel! The best thing you can do is get the part number of your current part, it might be a little dirty but it's there. Don't use brake cleaner incase it's not etched on.

Why did you replace the drag link if you don’t mind telling us?

I'd like to find out what this steering set up is generically called, I'm building a large overlanding rig, but using tandem front Dana 80 axles. I'd like to swap out the standard gear box and use this type so i can tie both axles together 🤔

Don't really understand the question but reciprocating ball steering comes to mind

@@teeestime6202 i found out it's called a "Saginaw" push pull steering system....I'm looking to build it using tandem steer axles instead of just one

Do you have a link for your build?
@justintyme144910 ай бұрын
@@teeestime6202 no, no link, trying to keep it low key until it's complete, so i don't get shut down before i start

Did you need to do an alignment afterwards

@@nicky85926 welcome to the channel, I personally didn't get a alignment afterwards but it's always advised to get one done after any suspension work.
