Oh I have got to admit… Michelle hosting is REFRESHING!! There’s something genuine about the way she talks to the queens. Like she’s talking to them not the camera. Also she makes sure that the queens understand every detail of what’s required from them! I love Ru’s style of hosting no doubt, but it’s great to see Michelle step up and already she’s proving to be AMAZING! This season is looking to be good!

I really, really hoped all season would start with a talent show as a first maxi challenge - episode, so the queens could get to show more about them. Not just bringing a costume, doing a mug and get eliminated episode. And the lighting makes this episode's runway looks like a season 5 production, 11 years ago, budget-wise :)) And, love Michelle!

@@awqretxs I'm with you on that, 100%. I could think of a few things why they did not choose to go that way. First of all, it builds drama and drama builds interest and audience participation. Give the contestants some talking head time arguing that person x shouldn't be there anymore, a cavalcade of emotions, etc. Second, by making it a runway challenge in direct competition with another competitor you didn't know beforehand, this might feel to much like the start of RPDR season 13, with a smaller roster. They needed a fake-out. Third, make Michelle the benevolent one and curry more favour with the audience. Damn it, this series has broken me, constantly thinking about why production might have done something.
