Yes 1920's Berlin was lit (apparently). People say the top 3 most queercentric, fabulous eras were 1920's Berlin, 1960's San Fran and 1980's New York City. Im not LGBTQ .. but I lived near the gay villiage in Toronto during University and ive moved around quite a bit in the last 15 years but that apartment and time in my life was just magical. It was a bit of a rough neighbourhood, we had some transexual hookers that would work out of the alley behind my building ( if you've ever seen that episode of Sex and the City when Samantha fights with the trans streetwalkers, it wasnt far off from that...) anyways.. I still love Church St but its just not the same anymore.

Drag Race Germany was long overdue honestly after Holland got their first season 3 years ago now! And also now with Belgium, France, Italy, Spain & Sweden. I was confused why Germany didn’t get a season earlier than it’s other Euro countries. The artistry of the German (Austrian, Swiss) queens is off the charts!!

Licensing issues. DRDE was going to be the first ever international season (first... announced back in 2013), even preceding DR Thailand! But because the initial license had expired, they couldn't do Drag Race in Germany (Queen of Drags was the result of that copyright loss, back in 2019)

Little clue from a German native: Don't use "Fräulein" (unless a woman insists to do so). It's an outdated adress of unmarried women and will be understood as an offense and discriminatory from most women. "Fräulein" is banned from official use since 1972.

In a perfect world they would have one channel aired all of the drag race franchises. Unfortunately if you're from Canada unsubscribe to wow you only get to see a few of them they're not all available.
