In the last season Margaret and Gala Varo were also from LA MAS DRAGA season 1 and 2... SOOOOO YOU KNOW THEY ARE ICONIC ❤

I think Valentina's lack of fluency wasn't the sole reason for fans agreeing on her being laid off. She had a hard time keeping up with all the pop culture references and in-jokes as a result of not growing up in Mexico. Mexicans value foreigners' efforts to speak the language, but I think Mexican Americans, especially someone like Valentina who was hired to represent the Mexican franchise of such a prestigious brand/show, are held to a higher standard. I'd also add Valentina's lack of warmth during the season didn't help. She could've easily taken a "mentor" role à la Nicky Doll, but chose not to (?). I hope the new host,Taiga, doesn't disappoint.

I think the whole Valentina situation was stupid, imagine the outrage of on America we don’t have guest judges or contestants that can’t speak fluent English, imagine if Kenya michaels, Alexis Mateo and others were not allowed to be there, with more seasons Valentina’s Spanish could have developed more they didn’t even give her a chance, the queens understand her so what’s the problem

Honey, it wasn't just that, Valentina couldn't understand any mexican culture nor mexican pop culture references. She did a poor job promoting the season and for this second season she wanted to be paid the same amount of money as Michelle Visage per episode, that's why production got rid of her.
