There are so many little gems and references that even if this episode was unbearable overall, there are small little scenes and bits that are funny.

My fave ep so far is the latest ep! I didn;t expect this SNATCH GAME to make me LOL a lot! If you're not Filipino you probably won't find it as funny as I did because you won't get most of the references.

Probably most Filipinos would think it's not the best episode because we have already seen much BETTER "gay pageant-related" segments especially on our Noontime Shows (Eat Bulaga's Super Sireyna and Showtime's Miss Q and A). So our expectations were HIGH but the episode did not live up to it.

I'm a bit surprised honestly that there are more Filipinos than international watchers who did not find it funny. I just wished the production was better. The goal is to showcase drag culture in the PH tapos ang chaka ng editing. It's also terrible that the people involved in the production and editing are too sensitive to valid criticisms. Hope it will get better in the next episodes.

Most of the complaints i've seen (mine included) are about how awful the audio was in this episode. We couldn't hear the judges' critiques & a lot of Jon Santos' jokes properly bc the sound was an absolute mess. Hardly anyone had any complaints about the comedy.

It's the timing of this episode coming after the girl group episode (and the OPM Divas which was good too) that's making it come off as worse than it actually is. Honestly, for me, the amount of time spent on the choreo lessons IS NOT IT. Even I was like "Of all the choreographers they can have, they chose this person and for what? The drama?" Plus, the audio mixing and the cuts. I'm not really surprised at how polarizing this episode turned out to be.

Episodes 1 to 4 were so good, this one was not the one. The longest DRPH episode and not enough comedic moments, not even a mini challenge, and the sound editing was terrible. You wanna make a long ass beauty pageant episode on Drag Race make sure its funny or at least entertaining enough for an hour. I couldnt understand what Jon Santos was saying and KaladKaren is as unfunny as a host as she is as unknowledgable as a judge. I hope the Santino of DRPH gets replaced later on, make Rajo Laurel the main judge instead.

May i remind you that the show was shot during the pandemic era, when ph was in lockdown, no work for the queens = little to none income. They did the best they could given the circumstances.
