Love Janey but James Charles did not just "make a mistake". The guy displayed questionable behaviour towards minors, to put it mildly. Whether he acted upon that or not, it´s not something you just have to "work on" and then you get back on track. It´s way more serious than something that can be wash off with just an apology.

@@beachisthiscakeee: I can confirm that, however a big part of this system is making an effort for people to forgive you: James apologised and said that he was 'desperate' but being a millionaire with a very large followership across KZbin, Instagram and TikTok, he could use all that to spread awareness against paedophilia, donate to a youth support charity, apologise to and compensate the victims, build/donate to a school/fostercare centre, participate in a dating show for adults where he talks about his past issues, etc. But he didn't do any of that. He did some damage control and moved on. That's it.
