Yes, The older versions were a bit unreliable in 2004 2006'ish era for sure but 2010 onwards dicor are nowhere close to being unreliable I drove my 2010 dicor past 1lakh kilometers and there was no unnecessary expense. Some senseless people tend to abuse their cars in every possible aspect and then complain 😅 every car cannot be a toyota! I have been a hardcore dicor fan I own a 2014 november dicor now, which is sadly going to be invalid in November 2024 in delhi 😢 I drive it almost everyday and love it more than any other vehicle in it's class ❤ I many times prefer it over the SX4 or even C class w204 that we own simply because of the respect it gets on road 😅

@@awwfluffballs7070 It is good overall but it is not for you if you are the one who easily gets disturbed by rattling noise like many people who literally have an obsession with keeping their cars silent. If you can ignore that, it is a pretty damn good car But it will eventually rattle after a certain point UlThe thing I like about it the most is the Ultimate road presence and the massive respect it gets from other vehicles and even those stupid ace (chota hathi) driverswho somehow think they are invincible. They all shit bricks once this beast is rushing towards them head on 😅🤣 It has a great load carrying capacity too, if you fold the rear seat. I have loaded 10-15 boxes full of books and other household items like small sofas, mango boxes, cement sacks,Ahuja PA speakers and what not. It can easily carry reasonably heavy loads without any issue. It has that beautiful slightly bouncy feeling on lower speeds but feels quite planted on higher speeds ( Not as planted as a sedan but definitely not as much as a scorpio) The maintenance is also quite reasonable Suspension is out of this would it gobbles up bumps better than any other vehicle in it's class but the bush or other minor Suspension components may need replacement after around 35-50k of driving depending on the driving style as it is a heavy car and it will need replacement but again that is not very costly The turbo kicks in at about 1750-2000rpm and it shoots like a bullet once it crosses 2k rpm mark, the braking is also above average in the LX model as it does not have abs and ebd but in EX and above model the stopping power is much more predictable and confidence inspiring. Apart from that I have never faced any major issues in the car till date. Just keep the fluids topped up and change filters and oil regularly and the beast will serve you for a great tenure 😊 You cannot compare it to modern suv's as they are more compact and the monocoque chassis provide rigidity on a different level all together On the other hand this ladder frame has more of a go anywhere character 😅 I have crossed dividers and even driven it in fields in our home town and the beast just gobbles every obstacle like it doesn't exist.. Only go for it if you can compromise on the above things and just need a bloody tank to just go anywhere without giving it a second thaught. By the way this is the dicor version (even storme for that matter, as it has somewhat same dimensions and overall feel) I am talking about and not the latest safari. Storme on the other hand can be a better bet for you as it has an improved engine, chassis and Suspension. I have not yet owned a safari storme but driven it for like 4-5 km and it definitely felt slightly better to me but I will not be able to pass a judgment on it as I have not driven it enough to share my exact thaughts but looks quite better to me atleast on the spec sheet.
