Dragapult ex -

Everyone expects #dragapult ex to be top tier when we shift into the #twilightmasquerade format. After several testing sessions, I agree!
In my own personalized build, I combine the energy acceleration of #xatu with the reliability of #pidgeot Quick Search, tag-teaming on the backs of #cleffa and #rotom to get extra draw early on to maximize our setup speed.
I need to get more games before I can speak meaningfully about the winrate of the deck, but so far, it is doing well for me.

Was struggling to find a great Dragapult deck, but yours is 100% the best I have played so far and it feels good. I tried common Drag/Xatu decks, Drag/Pidg decks, and tried to build my own Drag/Xatu/Pidg deck and they felt just; ok. Thanks for this great deck!

Thanks for the kind words! And you're welcome! I couldn't find anything that worked the way I wanted, but I was able to get there. I have swapped the TM Devo for a lost vacuum, but otherwise this is same list I'm playing now.

@@lxmercyxl9982 Sounds good. I kind of like the direction you were headed overall. You could stream attacks somewhat well, unless ohko'd twice in a row.

Great video and list! I've been looking for a list that ran the 2 2 Pidgeot and Xatu line. Do you find yourself missing the third Nest Ball? How has the deck been without running Lumineon?

I don't feel like I need a third Nest Ball. As to Lumineon, I haven't often wished for it, and I don't think you could afford the bench space while also allotting for Pidgeot, Xatu, Cleffa/Rotom, multiple dragon lines, and sometimes Alakazam. Lumineon just doesn't do enough to take up a bench spot.

Feels like Pidgeot is going to be optimal... have you tried using Neo Upper energy? Cyrene or Roseannes Back up could be played to reuse it as well since enhanced hammer is around. Could free up lots of space.

I haven't tried the Pideot/NeoUpper builds, beyond thinking over what they bring to the table. Essentially getting an extra Dragapult out of Scoop Up Cyclone just seems too good. I'll definitely put some more reps into all the builds once the cards are out on PTCGL.

Yes, it will. But with all the gust we're playing, Rabsca isn't going to last long.

I can, and will. But I'm actively coaching students over Dragapult, so Greninja will be a side-project and be slower moving than the content around Dragapult.
