Laetitia's music, whether her solo stuff or with Stereolab, makes me feel smarter or more insightful than I really am, and as soon as I stop listening I go back to being stupid.

She was supporting Neutral Milk Hotel, the crowd were ALL talking over her set, I will never forgive the audience at that gig... she was as incredible as I was expecting, I wish this solo album was as widely popular as her Stereolab stuff... it's definitely in the same league as their discography!

Saw her playing with Monade while supporting her main band Stereolab. She played and sang for a 30-40 minute set, then went back up and played and sang for another 90 minute set. Badass woman. I miss Stereolab so much, but love her solo stuff too. Keep up the creativity, Laeticia!!!

[Justify to 100/110% for best reading.] The relatively Stereolab-reticent Sadier proving, solo, that she can do ‘French minx’ as naturally as beautiful butterflies emerge from previous cocoons …and this ‘shillelagh squirt’, for one, says “Vive la France” to that! I run ‘Find me… ’, behind uploads of Brazil 82, which appears to suit Socrates’ team’s flowing tempo. I wonder is she subconsciously recalling Morricone’s “Seán, Seán” motif (Ennio’s wife’s idea incidentally), from 'A Fistful of Dynamite' (1971) the wistful score, for which, has a very ‘Dots and Loops’ mood to it (an excellent recent---live in Copenhagen---rendition of 'Brakhage' from the seminal 'Dots and Loops' is, now, KZbind to the Net). Would someone please fuse an extended version of the far too brief ‘Find me… ’. If you like the Samba beat and uplifting vibe, of ‘Find me… ’, then view Captain Sensible’s 'Glad it’s all Over' (1983) (glad---the Falklands War is---all over); spot the shy Irish provincial girls, in the Captain’s video, whose chaperones seem to have been two relaxed lads. …Laetitia, we always knew you were delicia! [Morricone’s sublime 'Inventions for John - Originale and Version 2', are actually way-out pastiches of Ireland’s music to denote Sergio Leone’s idealistic, John Ford-ian, Irish revolutionary character “Seán” Mallory played, Clint Eastwood style, by James Coburn, i.e. lengthened (tin whistle-type) whistling, underpinned by (uilleann pipe-esque) drone, minus the usual diddly-eye baggage of our Irish traditional form expressed with, Beach Boy, Wilson’s innovation for overlapping instruments to produce a unique sound …and if not, then, that’s how the bass elements (piano/double-bass for bodhrán) sound, certainly, to my ear! An interesting 'Invenzione perJohn (Slowed+Reverb)' is currently showing on KZbin to, which, I prefer to apply the 1.25 speed. I drove, walked, and slept in Ireland’s hills and corries to the score from ‘A Fistful of Dynamite/Giù La Testa - Duck You Sucker/Once Upon a Time the Revolution' as well as to Stereolab’s 'Dots and Loops', 1997, album.]

Someone is going to put "ASMR" on the end of this song's video title, and it will go platinum viral. She REALLY knows her audience, and this can't help escape feeling like pandering, but it is the most seductive pandering I've ever seen - it rather defines the condition.
