I bought one 4 months ago and like the bow, but I had to work out some bugs with it. I had to turn my arrow with cock vane out because fletching was hitting the cable. I toke the rubber grip off because it was bulky. I carried it the the total archery challenge in ga a done awesome.

Thanks for the review! How does the dragon 10 compare to the flagship Bear or similar bow? Bear also uses Gordan limbs. I’m looking to upgrade my species EV and I’m torn between getting this and the execute for nearly 3x the price.

The most comparable Bear bow is the Alaskan which also uses a hybrid cam system. The Bear has a much smoother end to the draw cycle but both bows are hard to tune for fixed blade broadheads. I think it has to do with trying to use such a large diameter cam on a hybrid system. The two just don’t seem to be able to be tuned for fixed blades well, at least not for longer draw lengths like mine.

Good Review . Thanks. It would be great If You did a comparison video of the Dragon X10 to the Dragon X9. Right now I'm leaning towards the X9. I like how it looks more. And smoother draw.

Yeah I will try to do a comparison at some point. The x9 is definitely a lot smoother draw and also easier to tune for broadhead flight

Please test the 50-60# medium cams. Love the look but due to shoulder injury. Would only consider the lower draw weights.

I would not recommend this cam with a shoulder injury. It has an aggressive draw cycle.

can you do a speed test for the dragon 10 with the medium cam, 27-30 draw plus pundage readings as you go down in draw lenght, same as ypu did with the dragon x9 thanks.

i just got mine tune today, was completely out of specs, it took 15 1/2 turn to the control cable to get the cams to turn even, after that is all ready to rock.

Wow, make sure the draw mods and draw stops are all in the right place. 15 and a half turns sounds like way too much. Sounds like something else is off. They usually are right on when they come from the manufacturer. However, if it was just that far off from the manufacturer then I guess as long as it is on now then that is good.

they spent 4 1/2 hour trying to figure it out, it was doing a 3 inch low tear, qmd no matter where the rest or nocking point was it would not change, we ended moving the cams stops all the way to 0 when it show that top cam stop was hitting the limb 1 inch before bottom cam, it took 15 turns to correct it but now is all in specs

I’m really interested in this bow. However, I’m having difficulty seeing where we could get spare parts if needed. The sanlida website lists all their bows, arrows, strings, etc. Am I missing something regarding this?

You just email them when you need parts and they usually work with you to get them to you

The 9 is significantly slower but I would probably use the 9 for hunting because it is easier to tune the 9 for fixed blade broadhead flight

Tuning this bow is very finicky. I am getting inconsistent tears. Moving the rest left/right does not seem to have any effect at all. I any, it worsens horizontal tears. Yoke tuning made it a bit better, but I cannot get a perfect bullet hole no matter what I do.

Yes, it is. I have recommended that they look into that and make some modifications to make it tune easier.

Their Pin Nocks are the worst, replace them with IP Pin nocks by AAE
