You romance him just like you romanced him for friendship. To get to rivalry you have to always side with mages and/or slavers, though I never sided with slavers and still got 100% rivalry with him. And yes, he still fights with you at the end if you side with mages BUT ONLY if you have reached 100% and no less

Yup. Just be pro-mages. Easiest way to do that is take him on all mage-related missions and agree to help them, as well as arguing that it's work to oppress mages/stating the circle doesn't work. You don't have to be aggressive/forward to do it either.

Fenris was in my party for EVERY mission (mage-related as well), except for the Deep Roads in the end of Act I, and still I had a friendship romance with him😄 ...I still don't know how it worked😆 Maybe my mage-Hawke used some magic I didn't know about😄😄😄 (but since she's not a blood mage... I really have no ideas how it worked...🤔🤔🤔)

10 years late, but I had maxed friendship with Fenris and sided with the mages most of the time. He stayed and fought with me when I chose the mages and let Anders go at the end of the game too.

I believe I understand your position, but I think it ignores the big picture. Yes slavery does have many benefits and once it is abolished in any place, that place has awful economic backlash and has to rebuild itself; however old systems always have to become ruin to make way for new. Many see ruin as only bad, like how slavery is seen, but ruin presents opportunity to become better morally and economically like how slavery makes economies dependent on 1 thing which is ultimately a poor economy

Yeah, let's say he was a big man, sort of like sten, but twisted and angry because of how the tevinter mages treated him, and make him filled with anger and hatred, not in an emo way. Because they just want attention n crap, I mean in a really messed up way, or make him just this psychopathic/hannibal lecter type with extra plans and realy messed up ideas and canibalistic, all i'm saying is that the main problem with fenris is that instead of explaing his suffering they just made him emo

@Karma0101010 don't get me wrong, da2 was fun, much funnier than other games, and you'll play through it, and the act system doesn't affect the game play at all, you just "skip some years" to get an overview of what's happened. though it should have been executed better, but remember it's NOT bioware's fault, they ALWAYS tend to make the best games possible. they sat 4 years on DAO but EA forced them to release DA2 prematurely and tbh they don't give a fuck about games. Download it first to test
