Dragon Age 2: Hurricane (Anders/fem!Hawke)

I made an account just to comment on this. Wow! Beautiful and so well done! This is going to sound so so silly, but when I was fighting the High Dragon at the Bone Pit to get the Champion Armour for my rogue on my first playthough (In which I didn't really care for Anders; I found him whiny and persecuted to be honest) I humorously made a promise to Anders who was my last man standing in the battle after myself, Fenris and Varric went down (Anders didn't have the rivial perk just yet; One level up away!) that I would romance him in my second playthrough if he got me the armour. Surprisingly, he survived and so, keeping my silly promise, as soon as I beat the game after killing the poor man and siding with the Templars (My first Hawke was not mage friendly after everything magic took from her- no wonder she and Fenris got along as well as they did) I made a mage Hawke and romanced Anders...and he swept me off my feet! It went from little things that made me go "Aww!" to making me teary eyed with scenes that made me truly fall in love with him. I can't believe it but he went from being my least favorite character to the one I always romance now! He is so sweet and loving and caring and running away with him by the end of it all, it was amazing! All on a silly whim, I romanced him and he is my alltime favorite romance now! Brilliant job on the video! You captured their relationship so wonderfully! It was perfect! Sweet Maker, it was beautiful! It made me tear up!

Absolutely fantastic video...the whole atmosphere of the video is perfect, and the song matches perfectly...I particurly love the line "Tell me would you kill to prove youre right" because it immediately makes me think of Anders and what he did at the end of Dragon Age 2...Well done!

@AronaBFC I've never commented on a KZbin video, though I've poked around KZbin almost daily since it started. Also, I hate fan vids, tributes, and so on - just never saw the appeal, so I don't go looking for them. That in mind, I have to say this is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. The song is perfect, and the imagery you chose to go with it is a perfect fit. I went from "oh God, a fan vid, why did somebody send me this?" to "... holy s***" real quick. This is excellent.

OMG! I ALWAYS, ALWAYS imagine Anders singing this song! Its my FAVOURITE song from 30 secs to Mars (I ADORE Jared Leto) and the chorus just really reminds me about Anders and his plight with all the mages and all. "Tell me would you kill to save a life" is sooo fitting to the whole blowing up the chantry to save mages. Awesome!

Absolutely fantastic. I've never thought this song could fit Anders and well... I now realize that it's the perfect song for him. - spoiler - Beat the game yesterday and killed Anders though I was in love with him. Would you kill to save a life ? Yes and no. Killed Anders to stop him being corrupted by Justice and his hatred that would probably have led him killing others innocents. But killed him by vengeance too since he broke my heart by blowing the Chantry without telling me. Brillant work.

This video is simply gorgeous. I've been coming back to it for a few weeks, and I have to say that whilst it sums up the Anders romance perfectly, it also fits the entire game to a T - I particularly like the quieter 'where is your god?' alongside the image of the Arishok.
