I love some of the nuances of Inquisition's combat. Popping Walking Fortress or Livid to cancel a knockdown is one of my favourite effects ever in any game! That, and Rushing Bull being on every warrior's R1 button lol Also, what masterwork gear are you using? I saw the guard on hit, but was that revive on death? If so, you got pretty lucky with that percent chance 😅

Me too, DA.I has excelent combat & ai even after 10 years. That auto-resurrecting is from ring (forgot the name it has some Cat reference 😹 I don't remember where it is, but with this char I visited also Descend dlc so maybe I found it there cuz in previous plays I didn't have it). Guard on hit is from upgraded War Horn, Rushing Bull & War Cry. Walking Fortress from axe (forgot where I loot it 😩). Cassandra also making some guard for her and party (mostly from Vanguard skills).

@@andread87 Kitty's Collar! That's the accessory for revival, but it wrecks your defenses! Goodness, it's been so long since I played 😪 Cassandra is an amazing secondary tank with sword and shield. Her Wrath of Heaven skill with the 10% heal on hit is what keeps her going for me. My current playthrough is a two-handed Champion with critical hit focus, using Flow of Battle + Whirlwind to reduce Walking Fortress cooldown. Varric is on the team for his critical chance buff, and Vivienne is superior to Dorian and Solas. We're on Nightmare difficulty with all trials active and no crafted gear to maximise the torture. There are so many near losses, and Cassandra's party heal on death passive has been exploited to save my run multiple times. Those three really are the best team!!
