It's rare that games make it to where the sibling isn't the traitor or an antagonist. Always refreshing to have the MC keep a positive familiar bond after the "orphaned" thing.

Aww, yes. Now I have another reason to look forward to the final once I finish the game. Every time Fergus gets mentioned in my game I get happy because I know he's my Warden's only remaining family.

I took great joy in killing Arl Howe as my Cousland. I was also glad to see that Fergus survived the attack by Howe's men.

Wait wait wait, I know I'm a few years late on the uptake for this but its also never clicked with me before that this means the events of Dragon Age : Origins takes place over the course of only about a month-ish. Feels kinda wild.

It’s a bit longer than that I believe, from the prologues to Ostegar is a two week trip, so logic dictates that the events of DA:O took several months to progress just in travel time, notice he left it intentionally vague as to how long it took him to escape the Wilds, he only says it took him two weeks to wake up, so if you’d travelled directly to Orzammar from Ostegar, he was waking up when you arrived at Orzammar, and likely spent several months recovering in the Wilds before he was able to return to civilisation

In fact in the Mage origin, when you talk to Wynne she’ll mention that it’s been almost a year since you left the tower, and if you were a male dwarf noble who romanced the Noble Hunter, she’s already had the baby by the time you reach Orzammar, and from Google I found the events of DA:O are supposed to happen over the course of two years

The fifth Blight was the shortest blight after all haha. The events of Origin took around 1 year/1 and half/ to 2 years.

More like a year-ish, still the blight was repelled in so short time that outside of Ferelden everyone had an hard time believing it was a proper blight. Which I think is especially true if you performed Morrigan ritual.

I just beat the Cousland path earlier and I’m just sitting there wondering why I didn’t get any closure with Fergus. Now it just feels unfinished. :(
