I also have a chronic pain disorder and I am inspired seeing you doing videos even when in pain. I am super excited for the new Dragon Age game as well and have played every game multiple times as well. I absolutely love Solas new look in this. I romanced him in inquisition, and I think he looks amazing in this reveal. I also am loving the new hair physics and was happy to hear the devs say that there will be dozens of hair choices, and all will have lovely hair physics. This game is a day 1 buy for me. They just need to make it available for me to buy. 😊

Everything from the art style, environment, lighting and character design in this game looks stunning to me and the dialogue feels right! Pulled me right in and I loved the transitions they used to avoid spoilers in the video. This looks like a world we can all lose ourselves in, then go back and do it all over again. Bioware is back and this bodes well for another Mass Effect! I appreciate what they did to keep the effects while diminishing the flash/brightness as well. Thank you for pointing that out and explaining how it is done. I hope other developers take note of this. I have a scarred cornea from an illness and that forced me to stop playing some of my favorite games because of in game effects blinding me. Nice to know this won't be an issue for DA! PS: Sending healing wishes your way, hope your treatments are successful and your pain lessens! 🤗

I was really against the artstyle from the trailer, and also after first watching this. But, the more times I watch this gameplay, the more it is coming around on me, slowly the hype is coming back. Also I found your channel through this video popping up on my feed. I gotta say, you are just full of delightful whimsy and it is so refreshing! :D

Whats important for me is the story and writing and overarching narrative justice coming from Inquisition and the huge implications from both the Descent and Tresspasser DLC's. Solas is arguably the most narratively captivating character in gaming history to me. Its still a vivid memory of that entire experience as a lore junkie who's obsessed with philisophical and historical comparisons to real life

I just finished playing Dragon Age Inquisition on the computer, I doubt my current computer can handle this, so I'll first play it on PS5 Dragon Age 2 had a different art style than Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age Inquisition had a different art style again, so the change of art style doesn't really bother me. I thought Dragon Age Inquisition was better than Dragon Age 2, so I'm looking forward to it. I wonder how Veilguard will compare to the other sequels, but I'll be surprised if it's better than Dragon Age Origins with its six different ways to start. At least Dragon Age Inquisition brought race selection back, yay, I wouldn't mind playing an Asari or Turian in Mass Effect if the next protagonist is somebody new Neve is also the name of the lead from Scream 👍

Hope Hippy is feeling better soon! Personally not a huge fan of the softness on the skin of the characters. I think the ‘beauty filter’ comment you said hits the nail on the head. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but if they pulled back a little bit on the softness I’d be more invested. Hard to think in a dark fantasy setting that everyone has time for an amazing skincare routine 😊. The materials of the armour and clothing has a little texture, if the skin on the faces has just a pinch on the same way i’d be more sold. Not sure on the combat either, looks.. fine, but could have been the person playing and because they were using controller. The camera in the boss fight looks like it could take some work. But this is all nitpicking. It definitely has the Dragon Age vibe nailed and is looking like BioWare is back doing what they do best, and I am here for it.

It's horrible that there are still people who make us feel bad for looking stoned. It's a medicine it's not the 1950 marijuana madness era. People need to grow up. I will not say it´s terrible but I find it mediocore I had problems with roleplaying from second Dragon Age but Inquisition put crown on this (hey ya guy choose templars over mages, enjoy this 10 minute villian that´s all) so Iam dissapointed that in the end we are never going to get upgraded dialogue from Origins (thank you Larian for giving us something like Origins)

Gripes with the game: 1. Combat. While action is ok and I prefer it to tap targeting and I liked what they did with DA:I, this one feels a bit too floaty, unimpactful, lacks that oompf behind hits, reminded me of Marvel Avengers (and unfortunately I played too much of that game) and DnD Dark Alliance. 2. No tactical overview. Mike Gamble says there's a lot of strategy to experience with ability wheel but to me it seems less strategy and tactics than any of the previous games. 3. No character swapping. Idk why they decided that, but even FFXV had character swapping after DLCs. 4. Neve voice acting was a bit off? Maybe that's just me tho. 5. Pride demon redesign. I know people hate reused assets, but Pride demon was one of the few enemies that throughout all 3 games didn't change all that much and was iconic even, I've seen people use images of Pride demon from dragon age in the videos not related to dragon age. Positives: The way Varric looks, rly dig the new design. That's it from what I've seen. So far the trailer and gameplay reveal videos have not been it for me, and considering I got burned by their two previous games, it doesn't give me much hope. Will be looking forward to seeing more from them, more combat and exploration stuff would be nice.

The combat was kinda boring IMO, with all the enemies twiddling their thumbs and waiting for their turn to attack you, no challenge whatsoever. I also don't like the demon designs, they look like glowing fairy mushrooms in a forest, not menacing at all. The hack n slash hopping from enemy to enemy gave me Batman - Arkham Knight vibes which I don't want in a DA game. The faces look too smooth, at 2024 I expect realistic pores, grime and skin texture, this is (should be) DA after all, not Raid or League Of Legends. We can all agree to disagree, I might give this a try but defnitely not gonna pay full price. It's clearly not targeted for people over 30. After Andromeda I'm pretty much done with Bioware anyway. Those are my two cents.

m honestly really concerned it seems like they made this game for kids and new people and just making it shiny and they forgetting about the old fans that made dragon age is what it is the art style really bothers me demon's only have half bodies now the u i and the combat looks really dumbed down that's for new players tho i was really looking forward to this game but it wasn't made for us sadly hell i don't even think ill romance anyone if the art style is so overwatch looking what bioware games romance is a huge part of it or was it's just sad
