If you have Mythal by this fight she will show up as a dragon shortly after you start & blast it's armor away & health down to like 75%

Make sure you grab the permanent boost from the vendors just to have a little more when you get there!!!!!!

@@shawn70262 Unfortunately those "permanent" boosts are removed when you load your game. Try it out - buy one and check your stats (e.g. +1% damage, you'll see it in your detailed stats) then save and reload. The bonus has gone.

The Last Resort is great for a mage corrupted ground + meteor + entropic sphere build. You end up doing so much damage that you can keep yourself healed through Researchers Coat's 5% leech. Can also use Crested Focus on Emmrich for additional healing. You get guaranteed crits for Entropic sphere with corrupted ground + Vile Projectiles, and very quickly apply full stacks of every debuff once you get the Ring enchant that gives you bleeding on ability crit + Leg Mage's Gambit. Gambit is completely optional too, do plenty of dmg without it. Once you get to late game, you can really abuse this by using The Bargain staff (HP instead of mana for spells), Enchanted Athame (+100% ability dmg)+ A Pale Reflection + Smiling Visage (50% crit dmg, 15% dmg and hp on kill). With these items you can cast non-stop and use casting Iframes to never take damage. You have around ~470% extra damage easily out healing your health usage to cast spells. Don't even need the legendary ability of Researchers Coat (I didn't get it till Isabela right before Final Fight), though that makes the healing really crazy (3x leech vs bleeding enemies, and 1 sphere bleeds entire screen). To make it even easier, throw in Dragon's Brace (50% healing increase) and Paragon's Knuckle (25% max hp loss per hit) and you can faceroll the entire last mission on nightmare, standing there just casting with full stacks of The Last Resort without ever getting close to dying. Between the crazy damage, insane heals (full HP bar every 2-3 seconds), the constant invincibility from casting non-stop, CC from spells and Knuckle preventing you from getting 1 shot, you pretty much break the game.

I was able to beat this lvl 50 boss at lvl 32 with a bleed build very easy. 10 stack of bleeding and gg boss died alone just needed to keep the bleed up

For those that have the unique item that increases arrow damage, but reduces arrow count to 1 and also reduces arrow cooldown by alot, there's actually another unique item that gives you no arrow cooldown, basically unlimited arrows lol

Did the path of pale reflections quest, unlocked the door and there was no boss, unique chest already able to be opened and quest can never be completed.. Tried reloading save same thing

Gotta get better gear bro, you're entering areas where the enemies are outscaling your gear, but due to you playing on easy, the game just caters to your health and make sure you don't die easily

@ underdog is not easy. Underdog is the difficulty right below nightmare. Only difference between nightmare and underdog is slight less incoming dmg and slight less hp for enemies

@OpenWrldHeadHunter Yea underdog is right under adventurer, same thing applies, enemies are outscaling your gear. Depending on where you're at, you shouldn't be having no common, uncommon, rare gears on, you should be running mostly legendary, you have to be running multiple builds especially going against dragons. Don't do main quest, finish off every side quest within areas you travel too, then start doing your faction mission and Companion missions. Majority of the area you complete drops legendary or what most people do, they grind for material to upgrade faction shops because most of them give you free upgrades to the next tier

@ I appreciate the advice. I got through the fights, just took a while. But again, underdog is literally just a tad bit easier than nightmare. It’s not below adventurer. It’s the second hardest difficulty in the game.

I tried *The Last Resort* ring, and the Resistance penalty seemed to cap out at -100%. (Keep in mind this was likely before the patch they put out, so that might've changed). It's still absolutely brutal if you get hit, but if the stats sheet isn't lying - it's nice to know that if you have a big enough health bar and high enough Defense, you might stand a chance at not getting one-shot. Could serve some niche uses in some builds.

btw the orbs secret ending orbs you collect for the post game credit scene (one of which you collect from the final treasure room there)...what does that relate to? i'm new to dragon age but i didn't understand it i remember in the game someone during a quest was talking about leaving some far land because of it being horrific there and saying they will come or hoping they don't is that what it was referring to?

The third boss won't spawn for me. I can loot the chest for the rogue dagger but I'm afraid to progress a save with that spot bugged out if I walk in and take the dagger and leave. I won't be able to finish that questline without that boss.

So far every unique i have found with exception of red jenny bee belt tends to be better than anything i find afterward non uniques. Only 18 hours in though and about 50% companions unlocked.

If you learn their attack rotations and telegraphs and you time your evasions well - you can beat anything. All you have to do is outlast it. You'll have an easier time if you have a healing companion or two to back you up in case you do get hit. Lucanis and Harding use potion heals, which you can spec into giving you Deflect - it's a buff that completely negates damage on the next attack that hits you, and it doesn't disappear until you get hit - so there's no timer on it.

Depends on the Difficulty you choose there is Nightmare Difficulty aswell , if you like God of War Combat , you will like this Combat . And if you like High Fantasy Books / Games . Why i love this for example .

I found the greatest quest , you start off going to the hub then hitting home button then select manage game then hit delete game and that’s the end of the quest. You’re welcome I just saved you so much time looking for this quest reward.
