The Inquisitor(12:02 You can hear her theme. She told him she could convince him.), Morrigan, Mythal, Solas chooing redemption, the blight being cured and everybody survived achieving their dreams!? There may be hope for this yet. A lot of folks will be proud.

Not everyone. One of the companions will always die to give everyone more time. You just have to choose which one it is at that moment. Who is the one chosen to die will be shown in the ending.

If you're going to go Lavellan, then a perfect end would be her going with him among those choices. In my opinion

No you still don't get an option to join Solas to destroy the veil
@kaenidragaenmond3544Ай бұрын
@@darthsol658 the game is called Veilguard, not Dreadwolf. It's about keeping the Veil up, not tearing it down but guarding it from the Dread Wolf or anything else that might come for it next

All looking at this makes me feel, contrasted to the rest of the game, is what could have been. This right here, this feels like a good ending as a small part of a grander RPG with complexity and nuance. Why couldn't we have that? A better game would have contrasted this by also allowing you to tear down the veil, not every worse option than this only being so because you played the game poorly. This just makes me wish for a better game.

In the post credit, Are they the forgotten ones? the counterpart to evanuris i mean

@@mbuhhh3605 they are the Executors. They are some kind of secret organization from another continent we never seen before from beyond the sea. They were first introduced in Inquisition in side lore for a side quest to investigate strange secret symbols.

They are called the Executors and they were first mentioned in Inquisition.

This ending is beautiful, especially for Solas. Dragon Age is a franchise that stood out primarily because it sought to present fantasy form the perspective of history: the different lands & nations, the different people & their interpretations of events & beliefs, the conflicts and countless past sins that have forged the world into the state it is today. Solas needed to learn the one primary thing about history: it keeps moving forward. It is sheer folly to try and reclaim the glory of the past from the present, and to do so would cause needless suffering to anyone caught in the path of those seeking to turn back the wheel. The best we can do is to try and ensure a better future, making the best decisions we can to try & heal the mistakes made in the past that heroes later down the line can build off of. Origins started with a Warden ending yet another Blight. They prematurely ended what could have been an apocalypse, but remained trapped within cycles of history beyond their understanding, as there would be another Blight to be dealt with later down the line. Dragon Age II had the tragedy of Hawke, a person able to alter the course of history in the microcosm Kirkwall, but remained unable to prevent the larger crises from occurring, despite their best efforts: the viscount died at the hands of the Arishok, and the Templars & mages were at war. Inquisition started to buck this trend, with the Inquisitor suddenly placed in the seat of having to manage the many relationships and crises of Thedas' nations, attempting to chose the best possible outcome and dealing with the consequences of their decisions as they came, trying their best to fix a world that was seemingly obstinate in remaining broken. Veilguard does something we've been building up to for 15 years: Rook can break the cycle, and convince Solas to do the same. The slate is now wiped clean, for whatever troubles may plague Thedas yet, and which hero may rise up to face it in the years to come.

Well said or rather well typed. Who knows what or who will bring change again. Still there are some good changes: dwarves are rekindling their connection the Titans, regaining the ability to dream and use magic, The last of the Archdemons and the Evanuris or 'Old Gods of Tevinter' have been slain so no more Blights for the foreseeable future, The nations of Thedas, specifically Rivain, Antiva, and Tevinter, are rebuilding, Arlathan restored and returned to the elves for a new beginning

I grew up with Verric. I never knew about Dragon Age. So my first game was, is D.A: 2. Female Hawke, no customizing because I think she looks cute imo. Then I played inquisition. Then Origins. My reality in this virtual World is, I’m cutting his hand, this is for Verric.🥲. 🤬 you Solas. ( chuckles.)!!!!

They actually pulled the "secret bad guy" behind it all bullshit? This is so fucking trash they are even going back and making the previous games worse.

@@MrJade12 they really did a horrible job developing the Executors reveal. We only got small hints about them existing in Inquisition about them being a secret organization from beyond the sea from another continent we never seen before that have secretly watched events happen in the shadows. Now they are telling us they have been behind everything since the very beginning.
