For all you guys sticking up for DBZ battle of gods and saying this is a pretty shitty AF fan-fic, go look at battle of the gods yourselves. that movie sucked. The universe actually sucks. someone said earlier that saiyans hair never changes and vegeta grew a mustache, making GT non canon. It is non canon but thats not the reason why. the reason is that Toriyama said it himself. And if we went by the logic that saiyans hair never grow, then vegetas father and nappa mustve been born with a mustache. And ssj3...well hows that work? I can't honestly see how hardcore dbz lovers can like battle of the gods. I'd rather re-watch one of the old movies before I sit through that again. It was the most underwhelming dbz movie I've seen. I honestly wasnt expecting much after kai butchered the series. You know what was actually godlike? The original Bruce Faulconer music which was in the english version of the original series. its the main reason I hate kai. I'm aware of what Toriyama envisioned Battle of the Gods to be, But for a DBZ movie, it wasn't all that great. Beerus wasn't a real bad guy like for example frieza who basically went around the universe commiting genocide and blowing up planets. or the androids who killed their creator. SSJGod was just meh. The 1st time goku transformed into ssj3 was more exciting than watching goku struggle for such mediocre results. Almost everytime goku gets stronger, its the result of fighting someone stronger than him, or actually training(like u saw on his trip to namek). In battle of the gods, they make some stupid chant and gokus hair turns red and loses weight...gimme a break. Toriyama, what were you thinking when you made Battle of the gods?

narahs22 The original music and kai is painful to listen to after spending years watching re-runs of the american version and pretending I was goku while that epic namek music plays. I know all kids have done this. The music was fitting for a show where people are throwing nukes from their hands and blowing up entire planets. During the fight with frieza on namek, the background music flowed perfectly with what was going on, on screen. Some music was often chaotic and heavy metal sounds being played at the same time when fists are clashing and kai waves are flying all over the place..When I look at Kai, the music just cant seem to portray what is going on screen. Kai had too many moments where there was no music at all, and when it finally did play, It sounded like a military theme or my old college band playing drums. Imagine watching trunks cut frieza in half, and a drumline is playing in the background? remember the american version, with the epic guitar rift, playing just seconds before frieza realizes he's about to die? And trunks face all serious when he goes in for the kill.
