Well one thing I can say, is that.. on planet Vegeta, for that current time, there was no saiyan near the level of power of Vegeta and Goku, so the super saiyan transformation wasn't common. Nope the reason why goten and trunks easily ascend into super saiyan than goku and vegeta is because goku and vegeta already achieved super saiyan before they had swxual intercourse with their wives that pass the abundant s cells their sons and both were kind and gentle saiyans because of their upbringing on earth that made their s cells multiple even further to the point achieving super saiyan is simple for them while pure blooded saiyans like goku and vegeta took them long enough. In the DragonBall franchise, when you receive ki from another person, you get revitalized to some extent. Like when Vegeta gives Goku his ki in the tournament of power. Like I thought, you don't really know what you're talking about, and here is an explanition to your first point, made by the creator of dragonball: there are special types of cells in saiyans called s cells, and you need them in order to become a super sayian, and you get s cells by being really strong and being nice. they probably just go in the blood. edit: NVM you talked about S cells, but it doesn't raise any questions, S cells go from power too so Cumber will have enough and Gohan didn't have that many when he was young... but I don't get why you're using non-canon stuff like DBGT and the movies before DBS Broly, and also about the Cumber becoming SSJ I might be wrong and it's just some crap pulled out for action reson for no grades is probably bwcause they all already understood that grades are useless and are useless because A) massive energy consumption and B)You become slower then a snail

I thought about number 1 recently and the only difference I can think of is possibly because of the fact that Vegeta and Goku raised their power level so high before having goten and trunks, some how may have progressed to their offspring at the time. This theory is backed by high class saiyans having strong offspring as well and with a little training (plus goten and trunks were perfect sparring partners at youth) made the achievement easier.

Fun Fact Future Trunks actually CAN use healing techniques, but it has nothing to do with being a Super Saiyajin. He learned it during his Z- Sword training with Shin, and only ever used it during the Goku Black arc in the manga.

I guess Goten was able to achieve the SSJ form because he’s Father Goku mastered more or less the SSJ form or treated like it was his base form before putting Goten in Chi Chi, which would make sense biologically (kids get what there parents have). And that will approve why Gohan wasn’t able to do it so easily. But that theory is countered by Trunks and Vegeta since Vegeta put trunks in Bulma and he wasn’t a SSJ never mind mastered it.

i think the reason why goten and trunks were able to go super saiyan was because they were both conceived while goku and vegeta were able to transform and it raised their s cell count. future vegeta was killed because he wasn't prepared to fight them and he he didn't have goku around to motivate him to attain the form as much, atleast until after trunks was born. that's why future trunks wasn't able to transform until he was a teenager. but since present vegeta trained so hard to fight the androids and then transform, and then got bulma pregnant afterwards, i think that's why kid trunks' s cell count became so much higher than future trunks'.

Just a hunch but...I think that The reason Goku and vegeta struggled to turn SSJ more than the halflings is that Akira Toriyama just came up with the form as a way to stop Frieza. Unlike when Goten and Trunks transformes the form was already part of the *FRENCH FRIES* which made Akira Toriyama think that it was ok to make them SSJ. It's super hard BTW to explain in a comment section IRL would make thing's soo much better.

It wasnt really changed, about Goten and Trunks, both were simply born with good ammount of S Cells and theoreticly speaking both Goku and Vegeta were Super Sayians (or close to) when they made kids with their wifes, it was kinda genetic at this point. Plus, they were born as really powerful kids, we can see that as in Dragonball Goku and Friends return (non cannon but still) they in base forms were as strong as Abo and Cado who were as powerful as Frieza. Ah and Goku in dragonball wasnt even known as Sayian, he was just weird Human at this point and concept of Super Sayian wasnt in toryiama's head at that time. 2. What is even the second point about? xDD 3. What has the look of planet Vegeta to do with Super Sayians? And the history was inconsistent but anyone with brain knows true version of the story. First Sayians originated from planet Sadala, then they had a war between good sayians and evil ones, Yamoshi then became first *Super Sayian*, not super sayian god. And still was defeated by Evil sayians, then i dont really know what happend to Sadal but i think it was destroyed in the war, the remaining sayians went to planet plant, defeated Tuffles and took the planet for themselves and renamed it "Vegeta" after that we get to Dragonball minus witch is cannon, its also partly seen in Broly movie. And what has ozaruu to do with the Super Sayians. The whole concept in sayian community was a myth, a legend, they didnt bother trying to became one since they didnt even know how to try that or if its even possible, sayians back then thought that Super Sayian was just a Sayian with big enough power/potential, plus all sayians were kinda either evil or neutral, and usually good sayians werent the fighting ones, Gine for example. 4. Gohan was born with less S cells, simply, plus he was much weaker than Goten was at his age, Cumber was in dragonball heroes witch isnt cannon and also doesnt explain their shit, so why even touch this subject. 5. About Pan? I dont really know, i think they just made it that way so Pan would push the story forward making Goku protect her. Pan and Caufila not only differ in like genetics but also Pan wasnt made by Toryiama while Caulifla was, Pan is 1/4 Sayian and she doesnt really have that fighting spirit and drive to became stronger. While Caulifla is a sayian that as far as we know differs from normal U7 Sayians, they didnt even had a tail, here's my headcannon/theory, That U6 Sayians are evolved versions of U7 Sayians and in their like version of events the good sayians won, we can see that because the U6 sayians dont look like evil people. 6. Again, non cannon. But still i dont see anything making no sense here. Form used in slug movie was simply put Super Sayian concept at that time, then obviosly Toryiama made own version of it as we know today. I dont really understand how it can make no sense to you. U seem to not know what cannon and whats not, stop using every dragonball material possible, even if its official it can be non cannon for example some games, dragonball heroes and GT. 7. Episode of Bardock isnt cannon, so that argument kinda falls off, and again. The Sayians at that time the ones conquering the planets werent good people, they lacked S cells, and well, nobody knew how super sayian worked or what super sayian was, so yes it makes sense that no Sayian went SSJ. SSG was shown to not buff you but instead make you slimmer, it doesnt make your hair stand, has diffrent origin etc etc. Super Sayian Blue is also pretty simple, and since we dont know if SSG has grades (and most likely it doesnt) then maybe it cant have grades? And UI isnt actually super sayian transformation. About Vegeta's SSBE? We dont really know, it hasnt been explained. But in the manga we have the perfected SSB witch is actually SSB with the aura kept inside the body that makes the user stronger. About LSSJ? We saw the transformation used once so.

I believe that the more a saiyan is exposed to super saiyan power the easier they can achieve that level themselves. Somewhat similar to how Goku maintained the super saiyan god power levels after it wore off.

0:38 - At first the reason that saiyans can transform is because of their emotional state yes. Later on Goku and a bunch of other saiyans do master the technique and figure out a way to go SSJ more easily without having to rely on willpower 1:03 - as i already explained: it was a "mind over matter" situation at the beginning until they master the technique 1:20 - it was not "completely changed" 1:29 - Goten and Trunks have most likely been taught how to go SSJ by seeing their fathers go SSJ. Once Goku and Vegeta figured out how to access it easily they can pass it on to Goten and Trunks. It can also be explained by the fact that Goku and Vegeta was at a much higher power level than a regular SSJ when they had Goten and Trunks. Also there are other times where the transformation had draw backs. They also heavily relied on the great ape form when needing to get extra strong during combat rather than training incredibly hard like Goku. That's also why, in the sayian saga, Vegeta had his mind straight when using the great ape form and Nappas tails didn't hurt when being grabbed. They had focus on the great ape form and thought that the legendary SSJ was a myth 3:22 - "Bardock: the father of Goku" was only mostly canon but only because Toryiama thought the story was so good he added it himself. He didn't do his research before making this. A lot of the stuff he mentioned isn't canon and also the part about him saying Super Saiyan healed the bird, and the form also is used to heal. It's not exactly healing, more so the bird lost the energy to live and was dying. Goku could sense the life energy leaving the bird, so he gave the bird a little bit of his own energy so the bird wouldn't die. I wouldn't call it exactly healing just giving a bit of energy so the bird could live. Exactly as he did with Frieza.

most of this video was nit picking about things that happened in non canon sources or it was "why couldn't other saiyans go super saiyan and why did some have it easier". In order to unlock super saiyan a saiyan needs a certain number of s cells which are obtained by having a kind heart which is why other saiyans couldn't do it, they also need to have a certain base power level which is why goku couldn't unlock it as a kid and why gohan had to train harder to unlock it, he didn't have anywhere near the level of training as goten and trunks when he was a kid

What makes a super saiyans is s-cells. The more peaceful a saiyans is the more a cells they have. Not only are half saiyans more peaceful, but they are also children of Saiyans who already have s-cells.

The reason for why goten and trunks could achieve super sayain was actually explained by the creator. I wont go into full detail here but basically to achieve the super sayian form you needed to have alot of s-cells of witch a sayain could get through 3 things. Power, heart/determination and in the case of gotens and trunks the cells were passed down through their father who had achieved the form before they were born.

Dont see a problem with Goten and Trunks seeing as they never do anything significant in the story. They're just there. Them acquiring SSJ was literally just for shits and giggles. There is no ssj3 grade 2 or anything like that because the only reason the main cast of Saiyans discovered the super Saiyan grades in the first place is that they were trying to evolve ssj but after they realized that grade 2 and 3 were useless they stopped using the forms. There would be no reason for Goku and the other Saiyans to try and find grades for ssj2 and 3 as they would be useless hence why ssj3 grade 2 or something like that wasn't a thing.
