I own the game and it's a one by one attack basis. You attack opponent attacks next. Other than that Broly is the final boss. And beside the story mode the game is all about fusions.

Neo Burst Oh but thats how they have explained fusion all this time. Gogeta SS4 was only able to exist for 5 minutes because he was too powerfull and took too muich energy. SSB Vegito went from 30 min to 5 minutes because of that same reason, and SS3 Goteks lasted 15 minutes only.

i think you can in the maxi fusion by having super saiyan 4 goku, super saiyan blue vegeta, super saiyan blue goku and super saiyan 4 vegeta in it with your main character being in the fusion with the whole maxi fusion thing where you can basicly fuse your OC with 4 other characters can make INSANE combinations like yourself as a saiyan with kibito kai, beerus, piccolo, and Android 18 Or nuova shenron, hit, golden frieza, yourself as a super saiyan, and whis to make a perfect fusion

Things that disappointed me most about DB Fusions 1. That the number of fusions between non NPC/Custom characters is very small not allowing you to fuse any 2 characters and only have certain options for fusions 2. The Maxi Fusion being preset that the other members of the fusion basically contribute nothing at all

I doubt that is true. The appearance may be dependent on what the race of the starter of the fusion is, but the stats change depending on how strong the others are.
