One of the things I never quite got on early DB games up until Budokai 1 (I think) is how they managed to get the colors of the ki moves wrong all the time... Kamehameha being yellow-ish/orange (for Cell even green in this one) and then final flash being blue, etc. Doesn't make any sense at all...

What bothers me the most, even more than that is how they never get the colors of the characters right, especially the orange uniform most main characters use. They always use a light tone of blue and white soles for the boots, only from Xenoverse on did they appear to have started to use references for the colors.

I managed to, the trick is when you throw him with r2 hold the direction that you were holding to throw him and press at the same time x or o or □ with triangle, you have to do it with one finger covering the button you want and triangle, once you done that the meteor should start

How do you execute them well? I can't do meteor attacks but I can do every other attack just fine.

You press R2+front at the same time, and your character will do a kick. If it connects, your opponent will be sent flying, and during this time you press any direction button + x + square for a barrage of punches or circle for a barrage of kicks. Repeat the process every time your opponent is sent flying, and pressing triangle + x + direction will finish the combination with a energy attack (though not of the same type as the ones in this video).

I can do the first part the kick that is easily. The hard part is actually doing the meteor combo in that 1 second timeframe. 9 times out of 10 I fail to do so and I don't understand why. Do you keep holding the D pad all the time and then press x and sqaure at the same time? Or is it X then Square?

Wonder- Games I had the same problem, until I realized it was because I was taking to long to press the buttons because I was waiting for the opponent to be sent flying to press them. Have your fingers prepared on the buttons for the next during combo while your character is still beating the opponent, and press them at the exact moment the combination ends.

WitchettyMan Just 3 days ago I finally figured out a good way to get it working. Press R2 to initiate the Meteor attack and then pause the game as soon as you see the character about to start the attack. Afterwards let go of R2 and continue the game and mash the command you want to do like crazy if you are lucky the game will register the command and you will start the meteor. Now I find it easier to continue the meteor than the process of starting it. Also it seems to work a lot better on emulator than the actual console.
