Dragon Ball is one of my favorite childhood anime, and the opening of Dragon Ball GT is a piece I’ve always loved when played on the piano. It's called "Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku". It has everything: a catchy intro (Bit by bit, I'm falling under your spell...), a calmer part (Back when you first came into my life...), and a section where it's impossible not to get excited (Know that sometimes, I want, to turn around...). It's an amazing piece. Additionally, it can be played fast and energetically or slowly and with a lot of feeling, and it always sounds good no matter how you play it.
It took me a very, very, very long time to learn to play it at a level I was satisfied with, with an arrangement I liked. I wanted to start with a soft, nostalgic intro, accompanied by tenth arpeggios. Then play it again at a more normal and faster pace, continue by doubling the right hand an octave higher, and then move to the high notes to give it a more sentimental touch. There are pieces where I find complexity in the techniques, but in this case, the hardest part for me was maintaining the speed. It’s not perfect; I’m still a complete piano beginner, but I’m more than satisfied with the result.
I started learning to play the piano approximately 3 years and 4 months ago, from absolute zero, all thanks to the courses from musihacks and @JaimeAltozano. A thousand thanks to Jaime because he is an amazing, unparalleled teacher. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to play the piano.
