I think an interesting way you could have done this revisit is if you paired up Broly with the new Cell & Frieza character to amplify the value of Broly's lock in. Having the enemy down to 2 units from the get-go would surely make Broly look powerful with that no switching.

Yes, they are a very good combo. Cell & Frieza work best with an offensive character like this Broly (rather than with defensive characters like in Goresh's showcase of them), and as you said the 2 enemy battle members scenario is EXACTLY where Broly excels with his lock in.

ending up w 4 blasts is an effect caused by majin vegeta. everyone is too scared of using them while he has his gauge up, and when you do end up using one and you active the gauge, vegeta doesnt kill your hand. so it becomes a lose-lose situation.

Honestly I’ve been using this guy fairly consistently and he’s been cooking. I think he got more hate than deserved. I run this exact setup too, and Broly genuinely feels better than rose on it lmao. Sucks too, if rose was a better character Broly would benefit heavily from the cover change effect on his gauge.

Good Showcase but you could use more of the "Broly defensive". Ki reduction/- subcounts alies and draw speed debuff for First form and too in second form (except - subcounts). He's not the easiest character of all but he combines type defense neutrality in cover and 80% guaranteed healing he can take some damage (...Except that some matches end up in time counts).

You wouldn't exchange a defensive duo comp (like Turles + YEL Goku) and idk, Vegetto or Ultra Majin Vegeta for a unit that doesn't do half of what they do if you are fighting on God Rank only to win, without stuff like "I like this character in the show so I want to use him" When you are on that rank and your enemies are mfs like Goresh himself, your worries isn't doing uga buga damage anymore, it's actually being able to survive with your 3 units as much as possible to play around the star difference you will probably have by playing F2P. You want as many Perfect Vanish chances you can get, and having the risk of getting into a 2v3 early because of lack of defense, like Broly does in all star levels when fighting the new bad boys, ain't gonna cut it
