Now UI lock in can work really well if your opponent is new to the game or hasn't played him or doesn't know anything about him it all depends on your opponents knowledge of the game otherwise you're gonna have to play extremely smart with him

While I love SSB Gogeta and it's nice to see how he's gaining value, these matches mostly have showcased how underpowered his mechanic is and how it needs a buff. Bro has type advantage over Ultra 4geta and can't assault chain him to death due to all the healing happening with filling of the gauge. SSB Gogeta really needed to have a LF BLU VB mechanic of drawing a few strikes with every card he used and the ability to chain Greens and ESPECIALLY Blues into assault chain. Ultra 4geta should not be surviving SSB Gogeta when he is the perfect target (even more so when it's a low star vs high star match). Truly hope the devs can buff SSB's mecahnic into something powerful, rather the nieche tool that it is today.

I don’t see this as a problem for fgb. The ultra has a one time big heal that you’re just gonna have to pop anyway and you lose type advantage once he’s 50%. I think he could’ve been designed better against regular units that don’t have a gauge but again he’s the only character in the game that can deal with the counter gauges so it’s a fair trade off imo.

@@idcblue1527 Pal, idk if you are aware, but at 10:24 a 14* Transformed GB starts a combo with a green card on a damaged 5* UG4, and after using blast + 3 strikes he was out of cards and didnt kill UG4. 14 Stars vs 5 Stars. Best equips vs mid equips. When the anti-counter character can't sidestep to draw a card cause he'd activate the counter - the mechanic sucks. It's BAD. Now imagine if Assault Chain could combo from that last strike into main ability into blue card without activating the counter - UG4 would be smoked. Or heck, if FGB drew a strike 2 times every time he used a strike? Assault Chain needs a buff #BuffAssaultChain

I think the activation of UG4's gauge at 7:13 (Goresh was sealed and had no vanish, so enemy UG4 went for a strike and Goresh went for a blast which resulted in UG4's gauge activating (I think because he was going to take damage)) that cancelled UG4's attack is a bad design of the "While this character is in one of the following states consumes own Unique Gauge to counter most enemy attacks: attacking". If what happened at there is consistent then theoretically you could cancel UG4's ULTIMATE by simply using a blast card if UG4's gauge is full. It could also just be a bug, but I do not think so. As the ULTRA character of the DBL 6th anniversary, I think UG4 deserves a redesign of his gauge. *SHOULD NOT BE A THING*

I dont think it will work like that for being able to cancel UG4's ultimate by using a blast card while his gauge is up because his blue card and ultimate have blast nullification and not blast armor so his counter wont trigger in that specific instance due to him not taking any damage from blast while he charges at you with his blue or ultimate.

I've actually been having fun killing UG4 with fusing Gogeta. It's just so satisfying. 14*, 2x Zenkai buff, with Ultimate Gohan and fusing Vegito makes me not worry about the new unit. I one-shotted UG4 when he was 10* after he activated my AOE null and I laughed so hard when I got the LF. 😂
