So the pvp of this game is full of different and still powerful teams... What does balanced mean for you? 200 characters all as good as each other? First of all balancing all those units is impossible, you either make them all the same or you will get weaker and stronger characters... and second this is a gacha game, having this variety of teams available is already really good. Zenkai characters are stupid, right, but saying this game wasn't balanced before them too is also really dumb.

Zenkai is just broken and undeniably p2w Then they added the star system update to make f2p even worse. Instead of 2 star vs 7 star, it’s 2 star vs 14 star. Defending a shit system will only urge them to continue this shit system. Ex: Every Holy Trinity. Ex: Bardock era, SSJ Bardock, Broly era, Vegito era.
