I feel the thing that makes him so broken is the blast armor. Ultra characters have to be strong and have a defining trait so I’m not against the gauge and ult combo. But his blast armor eliminates counter play, u have no options other than throwing out random blues and greens

Blast armor is so common bro that’s not his “defining trait” lmao namek goku has blast armor, rose has blast armor, cooler has blast armor, beast gohan&orange piccolo(post revive) have blast armor, kid buu has blast armor. The 2 other units u run next to janemba on regen all have blast armor it’s not uncommon lmao. Janemba literally has a counter that has absolutely no counter, any card that’s a charge forward movement (goku side of gf green card, vb ult, etc) all have charging forward moves. There is actually no counter play to that. If you’re at long range with any unit and have a full hand of forward charging arts cards and janemba has a full gauge u literally can’t do a thing. Ur getting countered. Idk how that isn’t a defining trait. Also if ur an experienced player and have a good understanding of the game it shouldn’t be an issue. Androids will thrive against janemba in this meta since they’re basically the only blast based team, on top of easily being the best team in the game. Units like revival ui, zenkai green super gogeta and even green 21 can actually see some play because their kit is so heavily blast based. Blast canceling is so easy lmao

That’s why it only consumes a whole gauge each time, similar to UL Gogeta Blue or UL Super Vegito. It may be broken with no counter play, but I think the counter play IS dealing with the gauge. He just came out so I’ll need to test it, but there’s for sure a weakness to exploit with each unit if you ponder enough.

The thing that’s so broken about this character is his counter to both strike and blast cards. With ugb both his unique gauge and his blast armor countered blasts, while Janembas gauge counters strikes with blast armor countering blasts. With his gauge up I don’t see a great strategy against him other than just taking the ultimate

You realize it's not that bad, Gores is a unique breed of whale and skill, not all whales are as good as him just like content creators also only show their wins. No offense against Goresh, but he has a clear ego and likely makes excuses when he loses. But I've been fighting janembas with the same team I've been using since UVB released and it's fine. UVB just isn't unstoppable now, but Janemba has 1 spotted him yet so I'm not scared. XD
