So, based on other videos I've watched. The World Tournament stage has a condition to open up the battle outside the fighting square. It activates when someone uses a super move and then activates a cutscene to have the stadium clear to then open out to the rest of the city and the environment to be destructible. At least that's why I believe there's a no crowd version of the stage
