Did you also notice that during the story mode, the character's moveset changes to give them the moves they would have in canon at the moment of the fight? For instance, this Goku in the Episode Battle is Goku (Early) and we know already that his ultimate is the low-tier spirit bomb. But since he wouldn't know it at this point during the fight, he has a Super Kamehameha as his ult instead.

I think it’s just a cheeky way of being able to ignore the actual positioning of the characters during the clash. It allows them to essentially play a cutscene and ignore environments and position. I could be wrong tho

steedoj I don’t know if you know this about about assault vanish but it gives you gogeta blue a light stamina break after knock back and if you use with your CaC with wild stinger it’s a loop combo you should try it out

6:52 Teen Goku confirmed, because Goku (Z - Early) has Kamehameha, Kaioken Attack and Spirit Bomb in Sparking Zero as seen by old gameplay. This Goku that's up against Raditz has Kamehameha, Meteor Combination and Super Kamehameha. That's the same moveset Goku had when he went up against Piccolo at the World Martial Arts Tournament. This probably also confirms OG Dragonball is in the game.

And I doubt that a Platinum Cooler and a Full power King Cold will immediately get rejected, Platinum Cooler would just be 4th form Cooler with Metal Cooler’s colors and a full power King Cold would be the same form Frieza and Cooler has.
